Tamworth Post Office

I (politely) asked why the post boxes outside the (old) Co op department store were boarded up. Was told they had been after a 'parade' but were open again. They INSISTED! They were wrong. Wouldn't admit it though.

Attitude of most of the staff here absolutely STINKS - this isn't an isolated instance but simply been on going for many YEARS - not all, but majority of the staff here are rude, miserable & impolite.
I don't normally bother much with reviewing local post offices but in this instance point needs to be raised

Try to collect my parcel from amazon tonight at 6pm. working hours says that they work till 8pm. There is no one from post office, co-op guys cant help me, and said that they cant give me a parcel, because its locked by post office workers. Nice. Just waste my time tonigh

Needed to renew my passport and went into here as they do the complete process in one go. Genuinely friendly and efficient staff and the whole process took less than 10 minutes - and in less than 7 days my new passport has been safely received. Impressed!

I always find all the staff here very pleasant and helpful. There is a passport photograph machine available here. There are Post office services available seven days a week, they're only a limited range of services on a Sunday.

Someone who works at the business had updated the opening hours on Google to reflect a 10am-4pm day. However upon arriving, after walking in the cold temperatures, I was told by staff working in the joined Co-op that it was not open.

Someone who had the login details for the business had consciously logged on in the day to state they were open when they were not.

Poor.

Refused to take our packages because there were too many. Was 100 specials too so doubt the owner would be best pleased.

Pure and utter laziness. We went to a post office around the corner and gave them our money instead.
