Stone Post Office

Unbelievably slow actual posting. Items sit in post office for days; recently checked & no movement recorded for considerable time. Tracked delivery that should take 1-3 days, takes over a week.

Second time I've tried to use the service on a Saturday before 12:00 and the shop is shut despite sign clearly stating otherwise. This is to try to find out why a delivery card was left, but with no details of what happened to the parcel whatsoever.

Never open at stated open times and when you work full time and try to get there to collect post it’s very frustrating. Was told today by the post lady “I don’t live here you know” I don’t expect anyone to live there I just expect the post office to accept that they need to be open when they say they are meant to be! 4 trips later I have got my parcel…will never use Stone Post Office again . I’d advise you not to bother too.

Typically run post office.. 1 person working / 20 people waiting.. This is why it’s a dead institution.. 1 hour wait… The slowest working people are employed in this place.. avoid at all cost..

Went to post some letters with prepaid postage. Was told by the gentleman behind the desk that I'm putting him out of business because I'm not doing the postage at his shop. How ridiculous can you be. All I wanted to do was post the letter and I get a lecture about his business closing because of me. Not surprised by the negative reviews left here. Place should be seek major management shake down or this place will be closed down.

Never had any issues. Always friendly chatty staff. I think they do their best as it does get busy with only 1 member of staff working.

This is the second time I’ve been in and the same women is rude and abrupt and lacks customer service skills. Having read others reviews it seems there is quite a theme. It would be helpful for customers if these reviews were taken on board I.e . Re training.
