Silverdale Sub Post Office

Member of staff serving was rude from the get go. Treated me as if I was a child and persisted to be overly forceful and rude while I was simply trying to post my parcel. Upon asking why the postage was so high compared to my usual fees the only answer I got was that I was robbing the royal mail and all my postage beforehand was wrong. I politely asked for my parcel back I was was simply unhappy with how I was being treated, the member of staff forcefully gripped it when handing it back which felt aggressive then said something behind my back as I walked of. I did angrily reply by simply saying his customer service was appalling as I left the store. I would always recommend the royal mail over other services just not this man

Local sub post office, now that's what I call sexy!

Every time I go to this post office, I always encounter rude customer service and petty sly remarks. I have been going to other post offices which treat customers with more respect, I thought I would give this post office another chance, however they still have the same bad attitude. From looking at other reviews I can see other people have had the same problem. This needs to clearly be addressed. Considering there are so many postal competitors, I am surprised that they aren't grateful for the custom. As a business seller I post parcels regularly and for some reason this post office always has a problem with my parcels when no other post offices complain. Even when I haven't posted a parcel and used another service, I am still spoken to in a condescending manner. This post office needs to take a good look at who works there and think about a customer service training course. Its important to treat people how you wish to be treated yourself. Customers shouldn't get treated like dirt over just posting a parcel. If this carries on, I am sure people will make a stand. This post office needs to remember it only exists through customers. Its such a shame that this post office has staff which are on a power trip. For all this post office knows a mystery shopper could be watching out and they will be exposed for their ill treatment to customers.

I use this post office on a daily basis for my business parcel post. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable and friendly, I always receive great service and it is a great bonus that you can pick up most of your office stationary from there as well, Its great that we have such a brilliant post office in the local area without having to travel to a town, what more could you ask for!

I have used this post office ever since Madeley closed and May I say that the help and service that I have received from Silverdale has been exceptional. The staff are very knowledgeable and are only too pleased to help with whatever questions or queries I may have.

Should open at time advertised not when they feel like it especially in -6 temperatures and customers waiting especially the elderly
