The Wolds Post Office

Love this post office. They are like a village post office in a town. They know their customers by name and are always so welcoming. They always give such helpful advice about how best to send things and offer great services for travel too. I love going in for a chat and see Liz and Lucy who are just lovely people with big hearts. Excellent customer service every time.

The staff at this Post Office could not be more helpful, knowledgeable and professional. They are more than happy to assist and it sometimes feels more like they are running a public service than a business!
The opening hours are a bonus as I often need to go just after 5pm. I don't struggle to park and the staff are always friendly and polite even at the end of the day.
This place is a godsend when I need to send post after all the local post boxes have already been collected.

This post office is outstanding and the staff are superb . I have so much trust and confidence in the staff and service here that I would never go to another post office. They always go above and beyond and are so helpful and informative. I would highly recommend this post office

Excellent service. The post mistress and her daughter always give 110 % service. The other staff are very professional too. They know their business well. Have used this post office regularly and have seen occasions that people don't hear or want to accept what the rules are that are set by the post office NOT by the post mistress or her team. I have always been advised on my best options and really appreciate this service on my door step.

I go there frequently for parcel delivery and all the staff are consistently welcoming and friendly. Very helpful and patient also. The young woman and older lady are especially lovely, and I see them most times I visit.

Without doubt the worst post office I ever have the displeasure of visiting. I would avoid like the plague but parcels are sometimes taken there when delivery couldn't be made to my house. The staff are such rude jobsworths. It's clearly not an isolated incident as the other reviews can confirm. They really need to have a serious look at their attitude and customer service. Maybe take a trip to Melton Road to see how a post office should be run. Will honestly just let my parcels be returned to sender then have to go in again.

Called and very politely asked if they could help me locate a parcel that had been dropped off at this Post Office 16 days earlier and for which the tracking information showed it was still being prepared by the sender. Got an absolute torrent of abuse back from the lady owner of the shop, telling me how busy she was and asking me what I was accusing her of? I hadn't accused her of anything, I had been extremely polite and had just requested some assistance. I would not recommend this Post Office to anyone, really dreadful experience.

As many others have found, unbelievably rude, blunt and unhelpful service far too often. The manner with which customers are dealt with at times is disgusting. Other Post Offices I have used are friendly, cheery and helpful and the Wolds has a lot to learn.
