Finders Keepers

I am so relieved today, the result of the great work of Connie, the senior property manager at Finders Keepers. I thought there is no better way to thank her than to write this review.

We live in Perth Australia and my daughter was due to commence her studies at the U of Oxford in Jan 2021. Trying to get through the administrative red tape in the middle of a pandemic is a nightmare. Her college informed her that it is unable to offer a room as she is commencing in Jan and not Sept. We thought it would be easy and embarked on apartment hunting in Oxford from across the world. We then realised that she needed a "right to rent", which is tied to her VISA, which is tied to some documentations from her department. Somewhere someone had not got the ball rolling.

Getting an accepted offer is the other great hurdle. Many agents inflated prices. We made offers and then would not hear back from the agent. One went "on leave" immediately after communicating with us. One came back one week later to tell us the landlord prefer someone else. Eventually we found Finders Keepers who put up an apartment which we believed reflect the true market rate. Everything went smoothly and we signed the rental contract.

On the 5/1/21, the day that my daughter was to catch a flight from Perth to London, we woke up to find that a lock down was declared for UK. Due to the uncertainties, we decided to postpone her flight. But that leads to many other administrative matters. The biggest is her accommodation and the 13 parcels that I had ordered from eBay that were delivered to the eBay collection point for pickup. These parcels are all the necessary items for her to set up home in the middle of winter; bedsheet, duvet, cutlery, etc.

While I thought that the property manager could assist to pick up the parcels, I was not hopeful that she will be agreeable. However I was most surprise that she agreed! She just sent a photo of what she picked up. It blew me away. I am relieved that all the necessities are now securely in the apartment and my daughter can set up home and live out her 10 days quarantine. I am very grateful to Connie for the kind act. Such service is what we treasured in these extraordinary times. We will always go back to Finders Keepers. Great job.

Best agency and best team I've ever talked to! I was looking for a property in central Oxford, I didn't have much time and was very stressed. In a short time, The Finders Keepers team helped to find the perfect property with the perfect budget. They are extremely supportive with their clients. Great place and team to find a place to rent in Oxford. As a new student from India, I was quite overwhelmed initially but Amy made the whole process simple, smooth and straightforward for me. Got a great place at rewley road, just a few mins away from Said Business School. No complaints!

If you can avoid them, absolutely do. I was helping my fiance move, and on moving day they refused to hand the keys over. They said they wouldn't hand over the keys until a direct debit had been set up, which wouldn't be a problem, except they hadn't ever mentioned this before as a requirement before key collection. Wasn't in the contract, wasn't in any emails. They'd already done bank account checks, references and seen each income. All housemates had planned to set up a direct debit once they'd set up a house bank account to all pay into, so this
on the spot demand required one person to sign authorisation for a direct debit and just trust the others to send money to them. It also meant that he couldn't move in that day, couldn't take his things there, couldn't sleep there. They were clearly trying to do a pressure tactic to squeeze for more money. On going back the next day and showing them that there was nothing in the contract, no email, he was told 'this is the way things are done' and when he kept saying that they had no right to prevent him from entering his home they said 'well this is how it is'. They are absolute bullies, avoid avoid avoid

An excellent lettings experience! Finders Keepers Central Oxford helped me find a rented property for my parents, who will be living in Oxford for the first time. In a few weeks, Finders Keepers very professionally facilitated a smooth lettings process in the space of around a week, from first viewing to signing the Tenancy Agreement for the property. Finders keepers is the most reliable housing agency in Oxford — hands down #1. Amy has been the most exceptional agent we have ever worked with.. even on a global scale. She is extremely intelligent, prompt and found us our perfect home so smoothly it felt like a dream. We had terrible experiences with dishonesty from other companies in the area. Amy is a blessing!

The process at Finders Keepers was straight forward and we were not met with any unfortunate surprises when we moved in. Amir, our property manager has been incredible as well. He went above and beyond and even reviewed the property in person to make sure there were no problems in our home on the day of move in. He was very patient with us on the day of move in and has made us feel safe & secure here!

Finders Keepers is unlike any other company here in Oxford & the UK..so if you are a student or professional— please, for the sake of your valuable time and money, go through here first :) You will not be disappointed!!

We found a lovely home to rent for two years through Finders Keepers. The onboarding experience was effective and their team helpful despite COVID. Through our tenancy, we had an amazing experience with their property management team led by Ceri. We then found that they have an equally efficient departure program. Their cleaning vendors are exceptionally helpful and focused on cleaning to FK's standards. That gave us significant comfort that the work would be done in our absence to a high standard. Heading to Oxford to a year or more, Finder Keepers are the right team!

I highly recommend Finders Keepers! My partner and I had quite a pleasant letting experience with FK's team from the Park End Street office. They were very prompt, making the process expeditious and easy to complete, from the beginning, with the property viewing, until the end, when collecting the keys.
