I am very impressed with the quality of MRW 5” gauge track panels
They are very well made of a solid construction yet light enough to handle single handed
They fit together nicely and the ride over them is very smooth. Furthermore, they are of a practical length to store and transport.

My only experience of your company is that bought a hurricane blower from you a few months back. I can honestly say that it is brilliant. You can regulate the amount it blows which when the damper is fully closed is a lot. It is well made and I have had several members of Burton Model Engineers asking where I bought it. I would highly recommend this product for any 7 1/4 loco or bigger.

The products I have bought and used have been faultless and are very robust, which is exactly what I need. Nothing seems too much trouble and the service is not just professional but very friendly too.
To date I have bought quite a bit of portable track, a hurricane blower, various fixtures and fittings, oil cans and much more. I have not a single negative comment about any of it (unless it's to do with my bank balance afterwards!).
Would I recommend MRW? Without any hesitation at all. If you want to get started in this brilliant hobby, MRW are one of the best companies to get started with.

Brilliant portable track products and customer service!

MRW portable track has allowed us to have our very own railway that is very easy and quick to assemble, but most importantly it can be stacked up and kept out of the way.

Superb Service. Very happy with everything, the track is super easy to put together and packs away nice and neatly without taking up too much room! More than likely be putting another order in, in the near future to extend the run even more!

I was very happy to find Miniature Railway Workshop in my search for suitable track for my garden and new build steam engine. I was keen to find something I could ‘manage’ (I’m quite old!), that looked good, was strong and had the combined attraction of being easy to lay and portable. Perfect as I might well be moving house and it will need to come with me.
The website was very well designed, crystal clear on products, prices, delivery etc. and very easy to use. None of this clicking all over the place to find out information, ‘or ring to discuss’, which seems common to many sites.
The track looked excellent from the photos but I wanted to make sure it would be strong enough for a large engine and a swift response to an email reassured me of this. So I ordered, communication was faultless and the delivery arrived a few days later, neatly secured in a pallet cage, courtesy of a cheery driver who happily steered it to where I wanted on the drive.
The track is great, very well engineered, and strong and looks the part. The notes with it are helpful and there is a reassuring emphasis on safe and correct use and yes v. easy to handle and quick to build.
I’m very much looking forward to getting the first section laid through my garage and will be ordering more in the summer, hopefully including one of the points.
