Would strongly not recommend fuse properties. Charged us for repainting walls several times before the end of the tenancy. They'd repaint them as quickly as possible so they could charge us again and again every time a new scratch appeared instead of just repainting at the end of tenancy. £250 a wall even though the paint work around the house was visibly patchy. Large holes in kitchen that mice would come in through. Tried to charge us for the removal of mice even though we'd gotten rid of them. Shower room flooded from the day we moved in, this was never fixed because they always delayed it. Again blamed on us somehow. walked into our house freely without legal requirement of 24hr notice, sent maintenance to walk into our rooms while we were sleeping. Facilities were faulty (washing machine and dishwasher). We had no hot water or heating for a week, this was during winter so the house was freezing. Ridiculous cleaning fee total of £510 at the end of tenancy & £20-£30 for removal of a few bits of rubbish on top of that. Charged us for damage caused during a break in. Not a great agency if I'm honest.

Unfortunately I had to pick a star rating, and one star is frankly way too generous. We should have been more wary about the contract we were signing up to with fuse properties, having us pay them a non-refundable admin fee in cash, as well as having us meet at Yates to sign our contract over drinks !! This should have raised eyebrows, but as first year students we were naive and didn’t know any better and they continued to exploit this. Fuse properties from the start we’re out right unprofessional. We had random men walking into our house at any hours without any notice, supposedly being ‘maintenance’. However with the lack of communication and the frequency to which they came, along with the amount of unresolved problems that still lay in the house, it never made any sense. We had issues with rats, no hot water for a week during winter, showers and dishwashers breaking down. For the pricey rent we were paying, my room consisted of a cupboard, table, bedside table and bed, made from a 1970’s IKEA pack, which no wonder was just falling apart. Yet they would still make us pay unfair charges for the wear and tear of the house. Personally for myself, I had a mould issue in my room, which I told them about because of my asthma, this is a hygiene issue, which cannot be ignored !! However they just told me to clean it with bleach. I told them on numerous occasions it has grown back, it’s obvious that bleach isn’t the appropriate method in the removal of mould. But they were clearly uninterested in this health and safety breach. Their rude and obvious disregard to this issue lead my asthma to get dangerously worse throughout the time I lived here affecting my education at uni.Along with the general damp environment of the house, due to its heavy fire doors allowing no ventilation into any of the rooms whatsoever. Fuse properties not only took advantage of us with extortionate one-off payments throughout the year, being unrealistic for students, but living in their properties is a major danger hazard for your health.

Just wanted to say how professional Fuse Properties have been over the past 8 years of enangewitn with them as Landlords. The service provided is efficient, timely with a team of week managed competent staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Our properties are managed in a cost effective way and the standard of workmanship is next to none, hence our tenants are repeat customers! Thank you all at Fuse Properties we value your professionalism

Worst agency ever. Not professional at all.
Asked for large admin fee paid in cash before we even moved in and various other payments throughout the year. They would walk into our house without giving us notice and sent 'maintenance' regularly to walk into our house with their own key. They were condescending and patronising, charging us for a list of ridiculous things even before our tenancy ended. They spoke to us as if they had parental authority, inspecting our rooms every week without proper notice. Our contract was breached several times as we had no running hot water or heating for a week during winter. When we moved in the facilities such as the washing machine wasn't working for weeks and they never fixed our shower that flooded when we used it. They didn't finish maintenance when we first moved in, so we had painters in the house the first week.
We don't recommend!

Worst Landlords ever! Arrived at the 8 person house in an absolute state after it had apparently had a full clean. Checked the inventory and everything seemed okay. They assured us that the wifi was amazing however it was very weak and they removed a shower without suitable replacement. We then got charged a further £100 each for electric after being assured it was an all bills included property. We were then charged another £115 each for an end of tenancy clean (even though it was dirty when we arrived). Fuse then decided that they were going to try and charge us over £1000 in repairs when we left. This was soon dropped when they were sent an email with threats of legal action because the house was already a state when we arrived. The clean that we paid for stated (just take your stuff and leave, any extra cost will be up to fuse to sort out, however they then proceeded to charge us £200 for bins to be removed. This is a company that takes advantage of students.

Terrible experience. Stayed in a property for 1 year and we're constantly hassled throughout, regarding small grievances. At the end of the year all tenants had to pay an extra £100 for cleaning services, which they claimed did not cover removal of rubbish, redecoration or general wear and tear. They then proceeded to attempt to claim further expenses after check out. Multiple appliances failed throughout the tenancy and took multiple attempts to fix. Fuse properties will attempt to keep adding expenses for redecoration and repair, but on moving in, it seems that no change had been made from the previous year. Do not sign with their company.

i really cant think of one negative thing to say about my experience with this business.
every single person on the team are so professional and easy to communicate with, which is so important when you’re trying to sort out something stressful like housing. i would 100% recommend anyone to this company because they really value customer service.

Had a really good experience with Brydie. Very attentive and went above and beyond to search for a good property both reasonably priced and well finished. Very helpful, friendly and approachable
