Rented a property with Elkay for a year. Awful service. Stay away.

Updated 12/05/22 if Oliver Smit’s comment was about me I am not a racist at all and he was NOT my neighbour. It is clear defamation. I didn’t live on old street either! Another fake review by Elkay! Stay clear!

The firm has no sense of people-first attitude or professionalism with regard to the customer. They talk to you like they’re doing you a favour and they can’t be bothered! Stay away as a renter.

Elkay is always on the ball and been a super agency. Their platform for agreements and logging faults is modern and there has never been any unreasonable delays in them sorting something out.

I’ve been renting via them for the past two years and Jason in particular - the Maintenance Admin - is incredibly professional, well mannered, quick to respond and has kept me up to date with what’s happening when Im not about. He is a great asset to Elkay.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT. They’ll force you to do an end of tenancy cleaning (£500) and charge you £50 labour costs. It’s not worth it, please stay away. They don’t fix things until weeks either. Avoid or pay the extortionate amounts they will charge you.

I rented a flat through Elkay for a year. The agent that attended me was personable and efficient and the flat really great. I am very happy with the service.

I find this agency very professional, informative and helpful. From seeing the property until key collection, they have been there to help. I would highly recommend them.
