Rex Gooding

We had Rex Gooding as our estate agent/landlord for little over two years. They were always clear and quick to communicate with us when sorting inspections or problems. Jackie Richard was really good with us as well. Much better than our previous estate agents who honestly looked like they didn’t care. Rex Gooding were also brilliant when our landlords were planning on selling our property, helping us trying to find a new flat and communicating with us well about the whole situation. Only complaint would be that they didn’t allow pets but I think that’s down to the owner of the building actually! Would recommend.

Worst staff ever in Nottingham. They told me to come to view a house Today at 16:00, but now they said that I'm not on the list

EDIT. If you search all negative reviews, you will see that they've got excuses for everything. They told me to come on 30.08.2022 at 16:00 by phone a few days ago.
And no, I did not abuse your team. I spoke calmly and firmly with all your staff, but they were insulting, and they threatened me with Police if I didn't leave the parking lot where I was in MY car
very arrogant!!

Rex Gooding acted on behalf of the house we were purchasing. Updates from Lauren and the team were regular and always ahead of the estate agents I sold my property with. I believe Lauren did all that she could in order for us to complete before our mortgage offer expired, which in the current climate has saved us a lot of money compared to if we hadn't have met the deadline. Communication was always friendly and professional. Overall a great experience.

The team at Rex Gooding were very professional through the process. Everyone I dealt with was very knowledgable and courteous. All emails and enquiries were dealt with promptly. I would thoroughly recommend them.

We rented a property in Nottingham through Rex Gooding until recently. From the beginning the service was terrible. On the moving in day the house was being painted! We had to wait another 5 days before we could actually move in even though we were paying rent. Basically there had been no communication between Rex Gooding and the landlord of the property. Then at the end of the tenancy they tried to charge us for the 5 lost days.

Throughout the tenancy Rex Gooding were very slow to handle maintenance issues and often didn't get back to us for days.

We left the house in immaculate condition and spent 4 hours thoroughly cleaning it. When I asked about getting my deposit back they said the oven needed to be professionally cleaned even though we had cleaned it. It seems they wanted the oven to be as new. Finally they now tell me that I need to pay for tidying up the tiny garden (£180) - it's the middle of the winter and all there is to tidy are fallen leaves; and a full professional clean of the house (£325) plus miscellaneous other items. It's daylight robbery!!

This is our 7th rental and we have never had any deposit deducted previously as we always take care of the properties we rent and always leave the property in a good state.

So beware of Rex Gooding! They are very unprofessional and very dishonest. Rent elsewhere if you can. You will only have issues.

Rex Gooding has managed my small portfolio of properties for many years now. I find them professional, responsive, efficient and good value for money. Jackie Richards is probably one on the most efficient people I know and keeps on top of things and is great to work with. The wider team is great too.

Everything is seamless and they add so much value and make it easy for me.
