Chancellors - Lightwater Estate Agents

I can't recommend Chancellors enough! Chancellors made selling my house so quick and easy and not only that they got me the price I wanted for my house. Ben and Holly were really professional and on the ball. When choosing an agency I asked three local estate agencies to come and value the house. I wanted a quick sale and a good price. I am so glad I chose the team at Chancellors. They sold my house for the full asking price on the first day it went onto the market.

We were fortunate to have our appraisal done by Holly Valentine of Chancellors, Lightwater. She was organised, efficient, incredibly knowledgeable and very cognisant of our needs. I would highly recommend her if you are thinking of buying or selling a property as you would be in very capable hands.

I contacted Matt at Chancellors in Lightwater to ask him to keep me informed of any new properties coming to the market. I gave him our set of requirements.

Matt kept in touch with me regularly and when are suitable property came to market Matt contacted me and arranged a viewing.

Matt then went out of his way to ensure a second viewing could be undertaken at the weekend for my husband, following which he supported us in ensuring our offer was realistic and acceptable to the vendors.

Since our offer has been accepted, Matt has kept in touch regularly. He has been professional and courteous at all times and has communicated backwards and forwards between ourselves and the vendors.

DO NOT USE!!! Rubbish… overprice your house then do nothing to sell it. Had to complain to directors to get any attention. Didn’t even change the sign to sold!! Avoid!!

Further to your reply…. I’ve already emailed that address prior to this post and you’ve still failed to deliver service… replying to overcome a negative response failed…

Although these estate agents are notorious for over-pricing their inventory and leaving houses for sale on zoopla for 6 months even though they are SSTC, we wade an offer on a house. They never had the courtesty to even call us back with a reply. We assumed that the offer wasnt accepted by the vendor, but still, we missed out on a house purely because the staff couldnt be bothered to treat us with respect. Staff never call you back and are shady with their information,. (apart from 1 or 2 select few: Matt has always been professional) Apart from that, stay away especially if you are a buyer.

Though Cameron was "new" to the post of Sales Negotiator he showed a great deal of confidence if a little shy..He was polite and articulate and responded to my quizing questions truthfully if he did not know the answers he would get them.Overall, he is a credit to Chancellors and a very likable youg man.
There was a problem when we visited a property in West End when the office had provided him with the wrong keys for access to the bungalow !!Very awkward for him but he bounced back and we carried on to the next visit.

Georgina Turner from the Chancellors Lightwater branch was amazing at finding suitable properties with our specific requests for a property. She was very proactive in helping us find the perfect home, and where there were properties coming onto the market, she would call us to recommend to go view the property that ticked the boxes with our requirements rather than wasting time seeing houses that weren't suitable. When viewing the property, she was very knowledgable when asked questions. She also had some great knowledge of the local area which helped us make an informed decision. When we found the perfect home, we put an offer in, Georgina kept in communication and was delighted that our offer was accepted, especially as it was a sought after property. Thank you again Georgina for being super helpful and making the process so easy.

We secured a sale of our house after a number of attempts with other estate agents due in the main to the efforts of Cameron Cawte, Senior Sales Negotiator. From the moment he was assigned to our case he exhibited a friendly, professional and skilled approach not only to how he dealt with us but in his handling of prospective purchasers. He maintained contact, kept us up to date, upsold our property at each viewing and, at his suggestion to a proposective purchaser who was viewing another property, introduced our property resulting in an offer we found acceptable.
