Worst experience I've ever had! Their rent was a real dump : trash in the "garden", microwave in the backyard and so many other stuffs(cf. photos)... And the cleaning was CLEARLY not made. The house was for at least 5 persons but just 2 plates 3 forks and no knifes!! We had to send them 2 emails to have an answer because they never did the first time, If there were a unprofessionalism contest I think they could win. I strongly advise you not to rent via this agency.

Myself & my husband were nervous first time buyers with no knowledge or experience of the housing market. We hit a few walls along the way. But everyone we dealt with at James Douglas (Pontypridd) really supported and reassured us from beginning to end.

Very bad customer service. never bothered to listen or reply to tenant. Might be helping for landlords, but from tenants side, I cant give even 1 star. Did not changed mattress in ages. Basic furniture also missing. Imagine they handed over property with damaged main door and no keys to all tenants.

I am landlord with several properties in the Pontypridd area. I moved to James Douglas lettings when they bought another local letting agent. There were a few bumps to begin with, due to a settling in and transition process but since then they have been very good. They’ve done rent reviews and we now have a good system in place for maintenance. They are also very up to date with all the latest legislation. They really understand the Pontypridd market.

The marketing that James Douglas performed for my home was second to none, with the video walk through and the high quality pictures that had attracted so much interest, which really stood the house 'out from the crowd'.
Once an offer had been accepted, Nathan and Sally continued to be so helpful, providing constant feedback and keeping the lines of communication open, which was reassuring in such an uncertain process.
Even though the house has now sold, I still find myself going back to watch the marketing video just for the enjoyment that it brings.

Nathan and his team recently marketed and sold my house in Caerphilly. At first I was a bit hesitant about using an out of town estate agency but my fears were soon allayed. From his initial inspection and discussion through to the marketing and sale Nathan and his team have been extremely professional, efficient and kept me informed of progress at regular intervals.
In addition Nathan also suggested that my asking price be higher than I had been advised by another, more local, agent. I took his advice and we sold at a level that was higher than the other agents suggested asking price!
