Cambridge Property Lettings

We rented a property with Cambridge Property Lettings, in fact we lived at the Rose & Crown the same building as their offices. It has come to the end of our year long Tenancy with many issues during the tenancy such as a faulty boiler, 2 faulty fridges, faulty oven & a faulty washing machine which were replaced but was extremely inconvenient during the tenancy and we were given no compensation for this happening during the year we lived there.

We moved out the property on the 1st August 2019, leaving the house in better condition than when we received it as seen in our photos below while also following everything on their recommended list of checkout. We did however touch-up a couple of walls in the property with the same paint, however they're attempting to charge us £1500 for redecoration of the entire property. It's super convenient that the check-in list is super vague and the check-out report extremely detailed clearly taking advantage of us being students. Of our deposit that was initially handed over that was £5,040.00, a year later Cambridge Property Lettings are attempting to take £2610.60 from our deposit which is to be honest beyond a joke, we're students so we'll be disputing this with TDS avoid Cambridge Property Lettings, they're a joke.

My partner and I moved into a property recently and have been really happy with our flat and Cambridge Property Lettings as a company. Emma has been very patient and helpful in assisting us with organising documents and moving in details. Our agent, Keisha, has been wonderful; any concerns have had have been quickly met and resolved, communication has been easy and efficient and overall Keisha has been really accommodating. We would definitely recommend Cambridge Property Lettings.

As a tenant, my experience with Cambridge Property Lettings has been exceptional. They're very prompt to deal with any issues you give them and they give you a lot of handy information packs on your accommodation.

We have been very impressed with the service over 2 and a half years with Jeremy and his team at Cambridge Property Lettings.

We entrusted the smooth running of 2 let properties in Cambridge with them (having been totally dissatisfied with another company), and we found that they were utterly professional and always at the end of the telephone. Rachael was our property manager and she has been incredibly efficient, polite and a pleasure to deal with. A real asset to the company.

Sadly we have now sold both properties however, if we ever invest in the rental market again then without a doubt we would use CPL again.

I rented under CPL for two years whilst studying at university. Rachael was my letting agent during my recent tenancy, and I cannot speak highly enough of how helpful she was during my second year, prompt replies, friendly and always happy to help!

I started dealing with CPL about ten years' ago. They initially found a suitable investment property for me. They then arranged an extension on my behalf. They have since continually found tenants. They have dealt with everything right from major issues down to trivia! I certainly wouldn't have wanted to attempt all the work they have done on my behalf myself. They have all the necessary contacts in the Cambridge area and they have full experience in the letting of property. They know of all the builders, electricians, gardeners, etc. and all the government issues which need carrying out such as sorting the HMO Certificate. They also have full experience of students in the area and contacts with the colleges for finding tenants. Right from the owner, to all the staff I have dealt with over the years, I have been really pleased and satisfied with CPL,
have found them to be excellent at their job, and it has been a pleasure to deal with them.

I have the misfortune of living next door to a house "managed" by Cambridge Property Lettings. The pavement in front of the house and footpath to the side of the house is often blocked by bins and dumped rubbish, both by the tenants of the house and by people hired by Cambridge Property Lettings (cleaners, tradesmen). This rubbish only gets dealt with when the council finally sends someone to clean up their mess. It is a nightmare having a Cambridge Property Lettings house as a neighbour. I have tried contacting them about this and can never get through by phone and never have a response to my emails.

We have nothing but praise for the service we have received from Cambridge Property Lettings, since we transferred our two properties to them some time ago. They are highly professional in all respects, invariably courteous in their dealings with us, and equally scrupulous in attending to the needs of our tenants. We cannot recommend them too highly.
