Stevenage Lettings provide an excellent turnkey service for Landlords. I have been using them for 4 years and never had any issues.They pride themselves on looking after the tenants and the properties. All maintenance issues are promptly dealt with and the Landlord is kept fully informed.

I have had a very pleasant year long stay managed very professionally by Louise at Stevenage Lettings. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Furthermore Louise was always quick to respond to all of my questions and kept me well informed about the property, even through COVID-19. I'm very satisfied with my stay and the service provided by Stevenage Lettings.

I’ve been renting from Stevenage Lettings for over a year. Any fault or issue with the property always fixed very quickly and professionally.
Louise and rest of the team are very helpful, professional and generally nice people.
I had some bad experience with other letting agencies over the years, but not with Stevenage Lettings.

I was pleased with the service provided by Stevenage Lettings. They were very helpful and especially the help I received from Louise. She was able to provide information I required quickly and effectively and the process to get my in to a property was quick. Louise was able to work around my requirements even during the lockdown. I would also recommend them to a friend.

My parents had put their property on the market with Stevanage Lettings in January 2020 with everything going on (COVID-19) I get things have to be paused but working in a estate agency myself we still try to do the best we can for our clients and I know delivering that customer service is key but not with this letting agent! Firstly they don’t ever pick up their telephone how can you run a business but can never pick up the phone to your customers? Secondly a lady called Louise emailed my mother to tell her she was taking the property off the market because they wasn’t getting any interest after 5 months of complete time wasting which is definitely not acceptable and definitely not how you treat your customers who has put their trust in your hands not to mention not giving professional feedback properly and not even explaining to them about the situation or how they can try and help at all just dropped them in the loop. My parents even reduce the price but yet on the website it still shows the original price? (Clearly professional) I have now taken the matter in my hands and found a different agent who has found us a tenant so quick and efficient in a day. I would definitely not recommend using this agent at all, Very disappointed and a complete waste of time!!!!

The worst experience as a single tenant in my entire life. Initially, I was shown around the property by a polite and professional young man ("James" I think his name was), and was delighted to move in immediately. After signing all the relevant documents and receiving the keys, the problems began.
Firstly, the image advertised on the website is not the same as the actual property which was misleading.
Secondly, the upstairs bathroom, which was included in my contract, was not properly ventilated. There was a continuous growth of mould on the ceiling/ walls and, the side panel of the bath came apart every time I tried to bathe/ shower. Considering I was paying almost £600 per month was utterly a joke at this point.
Finally, a lady called Louise from the company would constantly email me personally on a monthly basis in regards to my monthly payment, stating that I was late to pay.
In actuality I was not, the payment was set up as a Standing Order with my bank account, she was just too impatient to receive the money. Plus, I had stated to both James and Louise when I signed the contract that I will be paying on the 1st of every month, even though I moved in on the 28th February. They agreed that the new payment date was completely fine, but clearly I did not expect the harassment that followed.
I had to keep replying to Louise, reiterating the initial payment agreement and to stop emailing me, unless it was a matter of emergency. Yet, every time we spoke she kept stating how she would make a note of this (obviously not, absolutely unprofessional).
I do not recommend anyone who is looking to live in Stevenage to use this agency, the best experience I have received so far was through Willow Homes Agency.

I had a mixed experience with Stevenage Lettings.

James showed me around the room / house. He was late for the appointment - but was able to answer all my questions. Overall, this went well.

I then dealt with both James and Lou to sign the contract etc, which went fine. When I moved in - there were several issues and problems with the room. The room had not been cleaned, and several things were broken (i.e. drawers, toilet roll holder, shower unit etc). Additionally, the shower head was blocked and simple unusable. I reported these to James, who did reply - but it took several weeks into months for things to get fixed. I actually ended up fixing some of them at a cost. Generally, Lou was much more responsive and on the ball than James at sorting things.
After the issues were fixed - it was generally a good tenancy experience. There were some more problems with the house - but Lou tried to sort things as best as she could. They never actually fixed the toilet flushing issue - but at the end of the day i was only there for a short while.

Additionally, James told me some incorrect information about the current tenants age and employment when i was looking around. He informed me that the ages ranged from 25 - 35, but in fact - one tenant was in his 50s. I let this slide as the tenants were very friendly and welcoming - but this could have caused issues in the long-run.

Overall, i would recommend them - but I would check the room has been cleaned and is ready for you to move in beforehand. Then you may need to chase them to get things fixed.
