Birch Property

i can honestly say i've had no problems. i have been with birch for a little over 2 years now and got no problems they helped me out when no one else would i keep a tidy house and pay my rent on time anything that needs doing gets done promptly. i don't understand the bad reviews. i would recommend them. thanks for all you've done for me. rosie

Birch is a bully and tries to intimidate tenants. I called on behalf of my partner to ask a simple question and was greeted with abuse, threats and continued ranting which ended with them threatening to evict my partner unless I went down to the office and apologised to them. They saw my question as a threat (all recorded and witnessed) It was nothing of the sort. They carried out there threat even though I was the one who asked the question. My partner has 4 children and is a full time carer for her father. It was a question you stupid firm. Nice firm of professionals, NOT. Little firm syndrome springs to mind. And as for carrying out repairs, that's a joke. There idea of fixing a leak is to put duct tape around it (pictures to prove it) cooker hob still hasn't been fixed after 6 months, French patio doors where every burglars dream to the point my partner was refused contents imsurance. The list is endless. Avoid this firm like the plague. They are all nice a professional to your face but once they have the money and you ask questions they turn on you. They are in breach of so many regulations I can't understand how he's been in business 25yrs.

Thankfully my partner is in a new property which is actually up to standard and the landlady is wonderful. Actually feels like a home.

I’ve rented from birch for over 5 years now, and in during that time I’ve never had any issues, we moved house twice and Steve and Mandy have gone above and beyond to make the move as seamless as possible, if we have had any issues within the property they have been fixed/ repaired immediately, at no expense spared regardless of time of day, or annual holidays. As we have young family we’ve always felt that they have taken care of any situation to cause as little disruption as possible
I cannot recommend birch enough, they value good tenants and will do everything they can to help you

AMAZING!!! One of the most professional agents I have ever dealt with! polite, helpful and responsive...is what i would like to be able to say. contacted them regarding a property to rent and to find out information regarding fees and the referencing criteria (this was advised to me by people i know in the industry). The person on the other end of the phone sounded like she had no interest in helping and didn't want to be there and didn't seem to have any idea on how her business operates! i have sent E-Mails that haven't been responded too and when a friend of mine called again on my behalf the woman ended the call by saying she had no intent of showing the property and no interest in doing business with me and hung up.
If you would like your time wasted and don't actually want to rent a property i would highly recommend 10/10
If you ACTUALLY like to find somewhere to live i would not bother

I phoned Steve with an near on impossible request to find me somewhere quick to rent for 3 months and that would take 2 dogs. Only Steve could manage this task. The house was perfect and in a lovely location. Very happy😊

I asked Steve to find me a flat to rent quick in Ipswich. He sorted me one , within a week I was all moved in .I followed his advice on the reference application and that went through without a hitch . I locked myself out yesterday , i rang him he came straight up with spare keys to let me in . I have been here a month now and I've found that nothing is ever too much trouble with Steve he is a top bloke . Nice one mate

Great estate agent, they were always very helpful, quick to respond and got any jobs done that needed doing. The process of moving in and out was easy and they worked quickly. We moved in over the COVID period and Steve was so helpful and understanding. They were very accommodating for when we moved out and that we had to do it quickly. Would use them again if we hadn't just brought a house. Definitely recommend. Thanks Steve for everything.

Having struggled to find a property 3 years ago, Steve and the team helped us from the moment we walked in the door, having rented from them for three years, we couldnt ask for a more understanding agent, they've helped when times are tough and always put our needs first, couldn't recommend highly enough
