Loved it! We hired out roo for a week long tour of the Scottish Highlands and would highly recommend, especially at this time of year as campsites are empty and take bookings on the day so we didn't have to plan ahead too much. The van had everything we needed in it and I'm still amazed at how well the space has been used to fit everything in. Emma and Dave were friendly and easy to deal with and provided good instructions in a video on how to use the vans features which was useful to refer back to

Had a great 4 night trip to Norfolk in Roo. Great service from start to finish, booking process was simple and questions answered quickly. We were novice campervanners and Dave and Emma could not have been more helpful. Van was easy to drive and the instruction manual and video invaluable. All the equipment we needed was on board, the bike carrier was fathomable with some jiggling and I'd recommend the awning, especially if you've got kids. A really lovely break.

, The VW camper known as ‘Gibby’ was picked up from Leicester, it was in immaculate condition and Dave was about for any questions and assistance with packing if we needed it. We then set off for Scotland and the Outer Hebrides on a great adventure through the islands over 11 nights, in not the best of weather !! As a first time in a camper we really enjoyed the whole experience, the van drives like a car and is very cozy and comfortable. We would really recommend Dave and Emma,s campers as they are so helpful and the vans are in excellent condition and come with all the bits you need. Greatly appreciated Kate & Robert.

What a fantastic experience! Our first time using a camper van and we will defiantly be making another trip! Dave and Emma from Wilderness camping provide a top quality service to ensure we enjoyed our adventure. The van was clean, comfortable/cosy up to date, reliable and everything was contained within the camper van that was needed for our trip. I hired “Gibby” for myself and my 5 year old sons 10 day road trip around Devon & Cornwall. The booking process was very easy and slick throughout and Emma was very quick to reply to questions that I had. As we’ve not experienced a camper van before, the information guides and videos to demonstrate the workings of the van really were helpful before our trip. The van was spotless on collection and very comfortable to drive and the size meant it was nimble enough around the Cornwall roads! “Gibby” is very well equipped and we didn’t once think I wish the van had that. Although the vans lights, fridge and USB charge points will operate from the on board battery, I would recommend booking a pitch with a electric hook up to boost the power and heat the on board hot water heater as this was really useful for washing up and showering. I would definitely recommend this company and their vans. “Gibby” has given myself and my son memories forever!

We hired “Gibby” the silver grey camper van for two weeks to tour the West Coast of Scotland, including the Isles of Mull and Skye. The van was well equipped, had a surprising amount of storage and drove really well on the twisty, hilly single track roads! Happy to recommend Wilderness Campers, who offer a professional, friendly service.

Highly recommended - Great Campervan and brilliant service with good communication throughout the whole booking process. We had a great time exploring the NC500 in Scotland in Gibby. The campervan had everything you needed. It’s worth printing a copy of the guide on how to use everything or at least keep the PDF on your phone, also the informational video was great too. Thanks so much Emma and Dave for a fun week exploring Scotland! Hope to have another long weekend away soon!

We recently hired one of the campervans to go up north and complete the NC500 and Skye as part of our honeymoon. It was our first time using a campervan and had a great time, much better than camping. Emma and Dave were very helpful and provided everything you would need in the campervan which also offered plenty of storage space. The activity shower was helpful after beach visits. The whole hire process was very easy through their website and they helped answer all our questions and all the info provided at handover made campervan life very easy. We look forward to the our next trip.
