Having turned up on the day unannounced and yet was greeted with a very informative and welcoming team. I was talked and walked around the planes and site. It’s immaculate and all looks new. Seating outside and inside. And amazing views once your up in the air. Colin was fantastic and sets you at ease. I would absolutely recommend.

I cant believe how friendly this airfield is!
We called for PPR, cancelled, then called again! We had 8 planes inbound and were treated to the best hospitality you could expect anywhere! Landed, tied the planes down, taken to the petrol station for fuel, camping overnight and given a lift into town for beers and curry!
What more can you ask for!
Balado Airfield is definitely a must stop destination when visiting Scotland!

Went today to watch my sister and 6yo nephew go for their helicopter 🚁 experience
The staff were lovely. There was a lovely little cafe, very reasonable priced. Nice clean toilets 🚻
