I was recently married here.
The room was excellent (much better in reality than the website photo's).
All the pre-wedding arrangements were friendly & efficient.
On the day the registrars were excellent, we did not feel rushed & the ceremony felt bespoke & personal.

Great venue for weddings in the beautiful old town.

Plenty of places conveniently close for the reception afterwards.

We had a wonderful wedding in the Midsomer Room! Dee and Alison our registrars were fantastic, they were so warm and lovely, and really made our ceremony so enjoyable! All contact both before and on the day was excellent, and very professional - we went into the wedding confident that we were being well looked after and that the day would run smoothly (which it did!)
The room itself was lovely, and perfect for the small intimate wedding we wanted
Thank you to everyone at Beaconsfield registry office!

Married my wife here back in the Spring after a couple of Covid-19 related postponements. Registrar and team were professional and warm. Lovely setting for photos after the ceremony - a photographer's dream.

Although our ceremony was lovely, and the registrars were amazing, I have to write this review for others who are looking to get married here. Each star here is for each of the registrars during our ceremony.

We were getting married on a Saturday. For over 6 months, I had conversations with the ceremonies team confirming we had 60 people attending as that what it says on the website, and all the restrictions had been lifted. I double confirmed this about a month before and was told 60 was fine.

On the Monday, and only after I pushed back I was told there had been a mistake in the office and that we were only allowed 18 guests. This meant that I had to cancel a coach costing £500 for the guests we were supposed to have at the ceremony, and also inform people less than a week before the wedding that they couldn't come to the ceremony. As you can imagine this was very upsetting and when i asked what could be done, I was told that i could change the wedding date (?!) 5 days before the wedding.

After this I confirmed i would have the maximum number i was allowed (17 + my photographer) yet on the day only 16 chairs were put in the room and during the ceremony someone had to go and get a chair for my Maid of Honour from the basement!

I understand that these are really challenging times and I completely respect all the COVID restrictions, i just wish the team were more organised at the registry office and had told us so much sooner as this caused a huge amount of stress the week before we were getting married and did put a dampner on the day considering we lost so, so, much money due to the pandemic and my bridesmaids had to wait outside.

The service was lovely, just please if you have your wedding here make sure you double triple check on the rules to save yourself the stress.

One of the most elegant little Tuesday market, with a distinctive character.
