A lovely gated community with a mixture of Air BNBs and people's homes. Wellesley park is situated in a lovely area of rural Britain without being so far from civilisation as to be lots of hassle to stay. The Barn which we stayed in was a spacious, neat, clean and modern establishment which catered for everything you could want from: a well stocked modern kitchen; comfortable living space; well furnished bedrooms; even a music player! A massive bonus is the pool and gym within the community, which people can book to use whilst away. Although small the gym has everything you could need, and the pool is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

Stayed for wedding nearby. Really nice place and grounds, but internet was so slow we weren't able to view any of the wedding photos and couldn't even browse google maps to get directions when we needed to. That would put me off staying again, even though the location was attractive. Also barking dogs nearby were annoying and wouldn't shut up. Couldn't use the pool when we tried as was closed.

I am staying at Mow Barton in Wellesley Park, Wells. I have nothing but positive things to say about our amazing experience in this beautiful 3 bedroom luxury house. It is very well equipped with a modern yet country feel. Dogs are welcome, and our accommodation is on one level, which we prefer. There is a bbq on the secluded terrace, and it’s very quiet and private. I have a young child who is thoroughly enjoying his stay, and board games are provided at the accommodation. Our room is en-suite plus a modern separate bathroom. There is a swimming pool, spa and sauna onsite, which is welcome. Just gorgeous!

We stayed in Mow Barton, a beautiful barn conversion with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was very well equipped and the living area spacious. We walked the footpath to Wells and visited Bath, Street and Weston-super-Mare. We used the gym and swimming pool every morning.

This is a perfect location for a holiday. Set in a residential complex and surrounded by 3 open fields and beautiful farmland, to ensure unspoilt views. We stayed in The Cider Press and had access to the tennis court and spa with a gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Due to covid measures, we had private use of these facilities via a free online booking system. The Cider Press is a large, well-appointed 3- bedroom house with all the mod cons including access to Netflix, Prime and Alexa, Blue Ray DVD wired into a Sonos sounds system. A selection of DVDs and books with a full open plan kitchen makes this feel like home... only better. Plenty of towels, some for the spa too, lots of pillows, big beds, large bathroom with bath and big shower as well as an en-suite in the main room. Stair gates were welcome for our baby as was the cot and high chair they supplied. One very unexpected and welcome surprise was the Nespresso machine with a selection of coffee pods. All in all one of the best places we've stayed. The caretaker was friendly and sociable and informative about the local area. Close to Glastonbury, Frome, Wells and Shepton Mallet.
