After four days, there will be teething problems, so three stars is harsh. Once it's up to the standards of its sister restaurant next door, I'm sure it will be excellent. Il Faro's cocktails are really superb - packed with flavour and originality. The staff are welcoming and very pleasant. All the right ingredients are there and I will go again.

Fantastic new restaurant, wine, cocktail bar and tapas. I Had a good selection of tapas with some new cocktails that you don't get from other bars.loved the tapas loved the cocktails excellent service and staff that actually communicate with you. Will definitely come back especially seeing live lobsters in a tank near the bar and restaurant and a delicious fresh seafood dishes available. Well done IL Faro.

Staff were so friendly and kind, they made us feel so very welcome. The food was very tasty and i would highly recommend the prawns on the tapas menu. The selection of cocktails is very unique and of great taste. I would 100% recommend to a friend.

Very original idea of venue. Amazing cocktails, very nice atmosphere.
You can enjoy good drinks and enjoy very good tapas. Not just ordinary restaurant.
Great service and advice, good knowledge of drinks.
Good job guys, highly recommended.

Went there with my girlfriend when it just opened. The small tapas style dishes were delicious and the wine cocktails were bang on point! The service was attentive and the staff were friendly and knowledgable. I would highly recommend a visit!

Very disappointing, a very underwhelming experience. The refurb from the previous incumbent, Alimentum, seems a bit half-baked and the nautical theme with bits of rope everywhere is very odd.

On arrival, our table reservation had failed so we were sat up on bar stools - making eating tricky as for some reason the long bar table doesn't seem compatible with the stools and is set quite high, at roughly chest level!

Bar snacks were a let down. A small bowl of olives, way past their best. four slices of stale bread, dreadful. Tapas were so poor - tepid prawns were bland, parmigiana stone cold. Fried calamari failed to materialise and around 30 minutes after placing our order we were told it wasn't in fact available. Beef carpaccio was the only success.

Overall the experience was a great disappointment. They were busy with a large party in the main dining area, but it was hard to fathom how simple tapas could go this badly wrong.
