Absolutely faultless from start to finish, especially as we booked a table last minute. The food was fresh and delicious, with an impressive selection of gluten free, dairy free and vegan/veggie options. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Can't praise it enough, we will definitely be back.

Booked here with my wife for birthday celebration. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. For starters we chose the Squid and Caprese salad, both served very quickly and tasted wonderful. Main courses were Pepperoni pizza and King Prawn Linguine. again brilliantly cooked, and just heavenly to eat.

The staff were kind and courteous, there was an excellent balance of being attentive whilst not coming across as intrusive.

Shout out to Rochelle, you owned your job, took pride in great service and were very happy to be there.

An excellent night out. We will of course be back

Never again - booked table for 5 arrived timely at 6pm , table offered was literally in the darkest area of the upstairs part of the restaurant with NO LIGHTS so menu was read using mobile torches. We placed our order at 6.10pm and the food arrived at 7.15pm with no staff ever checking on us for drinks, general how are you doing or even perhaps apologies for the delay. Staff completely didn’t handle the floor were uninterested in us. Very disappointed as it was our special meal with visitor from Oz who we didn’t see for a long time.

I've had a good meal here before, but the most recent experience was pretty dire. My partner's meatball starter came out stone cold, as if it had just been taken out of a freezer and partially warmed. The pizzas themselves were okay but you could get far better in Colchester, and the staff weren't overly concerned about our issues.

I don't expect to be waited on hand-and-foot in a chain Italian, but some consideration would be appreciated.

I had a lovely pizza and glass of wine. Very good service. The restaurant was a bit cold and I had to put my coat on due to this. We left earlier than we might because of feeling cold. There was a lot of deliveroo business going on which meant the door was constantly opening and closing.

We booked a table for 6 people to surprise a friend for a big birthday. We were kept in reception for a while but we had arrived a little early so no problem. We were told we couldn’t be shown to our table because there were only 3 staff on duty. 4 of us sat while we waited for the birthday girl. Waitress was very abrupt and rude throughout the night and we were constantly pressured to order before all our party had arrived (this was at 7pm so not late). We were seated upstairs and the waitress rarely came upstairs so asking for drinks was impossible. When our party was complete and had ordered drinks we were rudely told that when she brought the drinks back we had to order! We felt unwelcome and rushed the whole time. After the food was delivered we didn’t see her again until it was time to pay when we were presented with a bill. We had loyalty vouchers we wanted to use and but this was treated with rolled eyes! Eventually the manager came and us to pay and we explained the situation, she gave us a revised bill that included a £17 tip even tho we had not been asked if we wanted to leave a tip and would have declined had we been asked due to the dire service from the elusive waitress, at this point we just wanted to leave. This was not a busy night by any stretch, only 3 tables upstairs. We were then told that we had to pay on the app even tho some of our party felt uncomfortable with this and had brought cash. The food was ok but I have been in fast food takeaways and had a more relaxing experience.

Yummy food, a few vegan options (including one of the nicest vegan pizzas I've ever had) plus friendly staff.
Took a while to bring us the bill but then used their qr scanning feature to quickly and easily pay the bill.

We had a £30 voucher to use at Zizzi's so whilst away we decided to use it. We've come here before a few years back. We like it very much. Lovely staff. We both had the Passion Fruit 'Softie' which was a nice non-alcoholic drink. To start my wife got the Arancini and I had the festive special guest of Crispy Pasta Parcels with a mushroom truffle filling. For mains we both ordered the Sausage Ragu which was a lovely surprise, I've not had pasta shapes like that before or a creamy sauce. Top marks.
