Côte Haywards Heath

The restaurant was busy at lunch time and they run out of couple of menu items and desserts too.
We had wonderful service and since this was a lunch meeting our waitress was the utmost professional as she did not keep interrupting 😊 I actually like that a lot. We had reservation so seating was not an issue.
I definitely recommend this restaurant and if I am ever back in the area I sure will go in again.

We booked the Father’s Day meal at Cote for today and it far outweighed our expectations. Unfortunately the starter did take a long time (half an hour) to arrive. The cote de boeuf main course was cooked to perfection by Alex the chef. The château neuf du pape wine was sublime. We don’t normally have dessert but it was part of the deal and so happy we did as the crème brûlée was stunning! It was super smooth and went brilliantly with the dessert wine which Johnny, the manager recommended. Best meal out in a long time. Would highly recommend.

We have always loved Cote , can’t fault the staff but the food was pretty awful … had the tuna niscose salad … tuna dry and coated in way too many seeds , no French beans and no salad dressing … for 14.95 and quite frankly a frozen tuna steak … very poor … come on Cote everyone is trying to claw back money but currently I’ll never grace you restaurants again …. And I’m sorry to say that … my friend ordered a vegan dish and a green salad which was literally a handful of leaves and no dressing .. won’t be back anytime soon ….. sorry

Reasonable price, and service was perfect. Enjoyed the meal and loved vegetrian food served with tofu and spanich! Also I liked that the restuarant had an air-conditioner so that indoor dining was also nice!
I tried to review for server for his kindness in the official website but it kept showed error..

Utterly amazing evening. Wonderful atmosphere with food I can only describe as beautiful in both presentation and taste!! All staff were attentive to all customers observed including ourselves. They were cheerful and happy, in addition to attentive and knowledgeable. The deserts were no less than decadent. Christina was fantastic the whole night.

Came here for the Full English Breakfast and I have to say I found it quite delicious and filling.

7-11-21 Tried out the French Breakfast. It wasn't bad but I definitely prefer the English equivalent.

3-01-22 The beef bourguignon was quite tender and delicious though personally for me, I found the gravy to be too rich and salty though I guess that's how it's supposed to taste.

Friendly staff, excellent food from the Christmas menu. Will be going back again
