Lovely little cafe by the seaside! The building is from late 1800s and still preserved intact. Service is super friendly and the food was delicious! We had the Vietnamese breakfast bapz and they were sooo good!! 100% recommended!! - beautiful place to sit outside in good weather

Lovely cafe run by hard-working, cheerful young people at the lower terminus of the disgracefully neglected, non-running Leas Lift. Directly opposite are the impending shi-shi blocks of flats blocking views of the beach, whose megaprofits - if developers have any conscience - must restore the charming and increasingly essential Leas Lift to full function. After all, how will the gilded residents of uncertain demographic reach the town?
Great idea to have a 2ndhand bookshelf in the cafe. Thoroughly recommend a simple snack and a walk along the nearby Country Park.

Sweet and rustic cafe that was once the lift-station. A sun trap on good days where you can spend long hours enjoying a tea break and there’s a bookshop / library shelf inside also!

Cute little place with vegan and veggie options and excellent coffee (they have a marzocco machine !). They don't charge extra for decaf or oat milk ! Bonus points for that !

Consistently awesome food / drinks and amazing service. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. Always feel really welcomed. The cheese toasties are probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Choc chip cookies and banana bread are superb too. Amazing coffee. Such a nice place

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Came along with a friend who is now a regular and I cannot wait to go back. Cake is delicious - especially the vegan pumpkin spiced slice made by Michelle who works there. Highly recommended 🙂

Folkestone is a lovely town, I used to live here and I often visit. I’m always looking for new places to eat and drink.
This cafe is cool!
I had a delicious bacon brioche bap, but they forgot to bring our tea!
No problem. After a gentle reminder, the tea came, AND a refund!
Superb customer service
Well done!
There’s even cool background music!

As a vegan in folkestone now you're totally spoilt for choice but this is our absolute fave for brekkie. The sausage bap with onion chutney and the sausage roll were both 10/10, so good we went back 3 days in a row. Coffee is excellent, really well made by someone who knows what they're doing. Can't stop thinking about it & looking forward to going back already!
