Chicken wings were tiny (the size of a thumb!) And the chicken pieces were slimy with raw flour. Chips were cold. We threw it all straight out and ate toast instead.

The bad hygiene made me uncomfortable: ketchup stains, crumbs and old tissues lined the walls. Service was too long especially since we were the only customers in the shop. The fish and chips were good and filling, with reasonable portions, but nothing special. In particular, the chips were bland.

Disgusting they try to charge you more money watch out drunk people. They short change you. Its the two younger guys who look like they need a wash hygene is not in place. Shop should be shut down.

Slow service but staff polite. Food was OK but not up to its usual standards. Think I would give it a miss next time I'm in Chelmsford

90 mins for 2 portions of chips and a bottle of drink. Cancelled order due to the time being ridiculous. Won't be using again.

Would give -5 stars if I could. Absolutely disgraceful communication skills, left me waiting for over an hour until 4am just to cancel on me. Rude staff and on previous occasions food has been vile. Only reason I ordered again was for a portion of chips as an absolute last resort. Will never return. Hopefully this cancellation prevented me from getting food poisoning as their other customers have stated.

If you like spending your money on tiny portions of overcooked and greasy food then order from here. We ordered (through Just Eat) 2 doner kebabs, chips and nuggets. The kebab was swimming in oil, a shade of liquorice and tasted like a farm- not like normal lamb doner- so we called and asked what meat it is and they told us it's beef. Well it was very strange tasting beef. Chicken nuggets were cremated and solid. Chips were lovely.

One Star based on price alone really, and the fact that they attempt to charge more than prices advertised, expecting people to be drunk and not realise. Fish n chips cost £7.30 but they would attempt to charge more than advertised and then slyly grin when you point out the correct price. Anyway walked in the night before this post to find out price had risen to £9+, i think was £9.40, walked out without buying.
To be fair quality was nice enough, though it was freshly cooked so you would expect that, never tried the tired looking stuff that had been sitting there for hours.
