This was a lovely lunch time treat. Really lovely inside, set out like rail carraiges.
The service was lovely and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Visited here twice during the May Bank Holiday this year (having previously visited in 2020) and the food and atmosphere were amazing each time! The recent refurb looks great. We visited one day for dinner (and tried three courses) and loved it so much we went back for the breakfast the next day which you could tell were high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The staff were also very friendly and we found the service great each time we've been.

I passed this place on a trip to Manchester Airport, looked it up on Google maps and booked a table.
We went on a Saturday night and it was quite popular. The car park was almost full.
This is a really novel dining experience that has had some thought, and some money put behind it.
The food was really nice and good size portions, it was also well presented. We also thought it was good value for money and we would not hesitate to recommend a visit.

A very pleasant surprise to find this on our holiday. We sat in the carriage in first class and the food was the best we had all week!
Wish we found it earlier in the week as I wanted to go back.

Absolutely amazing food, best steak and ale pie we’ve ever had. Lovely setting, can either sit in an old train carriage or in the main bar area. Both lovely and very comfortable.

Had a lovely meal here on a Saturday evening. Food is reasonably priced and both of our meals were excellent. My Chicken Breast served in a Cider & Tarragon sauce with potatoes and green beans was wonderful, one of the best meals I have had for a while.
A full bar offers a good selection of drinks and thye have over 20 cocktails to choose from.
We will definitely be eating here again when we are back in this area if the Peak District.

Absolutely gorgeous, best breakfast iv ever had!!!, top quality fresh locally sourced produce ... I'm definitely coming back to try everything on the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner, I can't believe iv lived on the doorstep all my life and never eaten here🙈this is definitely going to be my go to place for top quality food and the staff are really nice and welcoming ,can't wait to dine again in the railway carriage again!!! highly Recommend this place 👌

The food was really good; everything was cooked extremely well and served beautifully. Great portions sizes too; the loaded fries could easily be shared between two or three people.
Good and fair pricing too.
The train carriage was very fun to sit inside and beautifully decorated.
The staff were very friendly and attentive too.
