Food was lovely as always although the gammon has shrunk to a child portion. Maybe mention in the menu how small it is now.
We understand due to the costs of meat but manage your customers expectations is my advice if you want them to keep returning.

Worst meal I've ever had. Not sure as a chef how he had the bottle to serve it, I eat 2 bits and sent it back. I was asked if I wanted anything else, not sure that I would have had the confidence in the chef. It even looked unappetising, not that there was anything complicated about a mixed grill. Self serve salad was good and that's why it managed 2 stars

Waitress was lovely and friendly, took the time to explain some items that had run out but also just to talk normally.
The salad bar was nice and fresh and well stocked.
The meals were both lovely and served hot although some of my sweet potato fries were overcooked and hard.
Only down side was large table near us with children who were running about and the mess on the floor after they left.

I have had breakfast at most places around the area this morning was the best breakfast I've had. It was prepared and cooked by Chef Crystal and served to as by Anita. Both meal and service was one of the best I have ever experienced. I highly recommend you try this for yourselves.

Hi been here a few times, food and service great. The place was a busy at the server's were really busy.
I would like to mention that the car park area wasn't well lit so care is recommended to you all.

Had dinner with family on Sunday. Was served by a lovely young lady who’s name I didn’t catch but she glasses in and her hair up. She was so friendly and helpful.
The food was served fast and was delicious.
Will definitely be returning.

Haven't been to the Compasses for ages. I had the Christmas set lunch. Really enjoyable even the roast potatoes were good. Prawn cocktail and Christmas pudding was delicious. Price really reasonable 👍

Started off lovely greeted by a lovely gentleman and guided to our table. It went majorly downhill from there. We sat in a booth not far from the bar area and the smell was awful. Couldn’t figure out why! Then came the little flies hanging around us which we had to swat away while we ate! Looking around we see tables around us doing the same! My 3 year old was not best pleased and didn’t eat her dinner. Then we went to the baby changing toilet as my 3 year old desperate for a wee and all dead flies over the sink and again the smell was awful. Manager had a face like thunder and very unapproachable! Will not be back at all!
