An easy 5 stars.

Something went a little wrong with the menu and less than half of it was available (understandable at the end of its run during uncertain Covid times), though we still easily found enough delicious items for a great meal.

It was also easily the best value meal I've had in London. It felt like robbery when the bill came!

The star of my meal was the burrata (cheese) starter with a delicious, fresh olive oil. Simple but incredibly good!

They have a different seasonal menu each month and I can't wait to see what they have next!

I've got a unique and cosy experience. As I arrived before the service started, I was pleased to meet Chef Justin, who gently offered me to get fresh pepper mint, yes, you can have it as well! They have a lovely garden with all sorts of fresh herbs. Food is absolutely amazing, inspiring and creative. It's an open kitchen, you can watch dedicated students preparing delicious meals. I strongly recommend it!

I came in for lunch, there was this boy it was on Thursday I’m sure he was wearing a red hand band and he had a few face piercings he was so rude to me he was even sitting down using his phone will everyone was working! I was happy with my dish and the waiters but the boy was so rude to me he even gave me dirty looks as a senior citizen I shouldn’t be going through this.

Enthusiastic and friendly staff, high quality food, reasonable prices. This restaurant is associated with New City College and we went on the night the service and food was delivered by the students. They were friendly and genuinely concerned that you we were looked after and had the best experience. All the courses were excellent but the pastry section really excelled. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I was here with my friend. We are very satisfied with the service and the food, it was very tasty, especially the salmon and cheesecake. The staff is very friendly and the chefs are masters of theirs craft. I can confidently recommend this restaurant to everyone. (very tasty coffee)

OKN1 hosted our office Christmas party which had to be postponed to January because of the rail strikes. We had a genuinely fantastic time! The whole team of staff and students could not have been more friendly, fun and helpful and the food and drink were really fantastic. Thank you so much for getting our year off to such a great start!

Beautifully presented dishes in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. There were 5 of us ordering different dishes all delicious. Very attentive service staff, a real find would definitely recommend.

Perfect hidden paradise in the heart of Hoxton. Food was incredible and filling (3 tapas for £11, tough to beat!) and staff were very nice. The tables are far apart and when blessed with sunshine, you couldn’t ask for a more perfect brunch spot. Will definitely be coming back!
