Came in here after an appointment at the walk in centre to cheer myself up, expecting a nice lunch. Guy with white hair behind the counter, ignored me for five mins, then attempted to serve the gentleman behind me. When I asked to put on my own salt and vinegar he was really awkward about it and deliberately covered up the meal, then pulled it away huffing and puffing at me. No proper menus up and no prices for fish and chips to be seen. Had no idea how much meal would cost as wasn't told. Unbelievably the guy reached across the counter and simply snatched the £10 out of my hand without a word!! Don't think anyone has ever done this to me in a shop ever before in my whole life. No manners, no smile, no please or thankyou for your custom. Meal was awful. Chips were cold and over-cooked. Cod was very poor with batter that tasted like cardboard - no crispy or bubbly batter, was more like a frozen ready meal that had been heated up. Would never go in here again. Guy behind the counter needs to learn some manners and respect for customers, ie acknowledge them and have the courtesy to speak to customers.
