The Greedy Goose Bristol

I’ve had two meals over my short stay in Long Ashton and found the food outstanding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Greedy Goose

Had the best Sunday carvery Beautiful meat and veggies. Staff were amazing Although really busy nothing was too much trouble Definitely go again asap 😃

Lush lunch, braised steak with plenty of vegetables. Absolutely delicious. Staff were lovely and helpful. Will go again.

Was recommended for Sunday lunch. Meat was and looked lovely, veg could have been better especially the cheese sauce on the cauliflower, looked as though it had separated. Unfortunately the actual restaurant was freezing as was the red wine, not making a great place to relax and you just wanted to eat and go! Offered blankets but in this age not sure sharing is a good idea!
Toilets out of order apart from disabled loo which definitely needs tlc !!!

Enjoyed a carvery with two friends and my husband. The portions were large, food was very tasty. The only let down was the service, they forgot our drinks and when we finished we spent ages trying to catch someone's eye to pay, but ended up getting up and standing at the counter. It's cute, small and feels good to support local 👌.

Fantastic carvery!, heard good reviews so I thought I would try and I wasn’t disappointed. There is a main dining area and a conservatory on the side.They do a standard carvery or a mega on a rectangle plate. Choice of 3 meats and good selection of veg and cauli cheese.Thatchers on tap.

We have been to this restaurant a few times, the food is great but the system doesn’t work. You ring to book to be told you don’t need to, then you turn up and it’s full and you have to wait. The waitress asks what you want to eat and drink and takes the money up front. Then supposed to return with your ticket to go to the counter for your food but forgets to come back.
Why doesn’t the waitress have tickets with her to give you as soon as you pay.
Also the restaurant was full so we were put in the conservatory over flow area, it was cold in there and full of cobwebs. If you are going to use this area then at least clean it.
