The Orangery Restaurant

This was a very pleasant place to sit and have a lovely warm drink, the staff were very helpful and when our nearly 4 year old grandson wanted to get involved with the ordering process they took the time to listen to him.

Really good quality coffee. Great service and friendly staff.

With the woolyard cafe closed and the weather rainy, we were concerned we would be eating outside with our 2 dogs.
Thankfully, the Orangery allows dogs now - but is it temporary?

What you would expect from a national trust eatery.

We had a Christmas meal which was very good. You have to prebook if you want the Christmas dinner and this is a set 3 course meal plus coffee and mince pies. The staff are very helpful and pleasant.
