Sauda Village Oyster Pit

Best fish and chips. Cooked to order so a little wait but well worth it. Ordered a medium size but after tasting wished I ordered a large! Attentive and helpful staff and does great ice cream too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food made to order, but well worth the (reasonable) wait. I must admit I haven't tried deep fried halloumi before and it was simply delicious. Fish and chips were also devoured pretty fast by my family. Top marks.

Our food took a little while but that's because it was freshly cooked to order, we had sausage and chips - tasted great.
Gelato and milkshakes also available.

Very disappointing £30 for 2 supposedly Large Cod and chips with 2 Teas and Curry sauce.
Cod was Medium if that ! Chips initially seemed fresh but hard points penetrated the roof of my mouth ! Causing a painful sore !
Place was empty so should've known better and no fish visibly cooked in shop !
The only joy was a delightful and polite very young boy who brought us our meal ! Won't be returning !

Not very nice place was empty the chips were awful even the oil from the frier smelt bad wont visit again

Felt a bit disorganised and chaotic- maybe new staff but chips were amazing!

I really don't know where to start. We ordered online and waited and waited for our order to be accepted by the restaurant. 20 min later we called up to be told the online system wasn't working - of course it took our money though!
We repeated our order over the phone and waited 20 min before walking to collect it. When we got there, the place was empty and they were not cooking anything.
They began cooking our order while we waited another 20 min.
As they packed the order, we noticed it was wrong. They didnt have a large rock so had cooked a small one but didn't tell us. The piece of fish was tiny and they expected us to pay £9 for it.
They had also only given us 1 large chips instead of 3. When we pointed it out, he began to load frozen chips into the fryer. We were not going to wait any longer and risk the rest of the order going cold/soggy so we asked for a refund for the rock and missing chips which was given to us.
Will certainly not be going back!

Upon arrival the owner (possibly) was talking on the phone being very rude. Nobody served for a good few minutes. The wait was long and there was no customer service. The place needs a tidy up and better customer service. Chips ok but have had better.
