Old Castle Salisbury

Amazing if i could give you 10 stars i would. We had an amazing family meal this eve in the new refurbished pub was absolutely amazing. Gina(I think sorry if wrong) was an amazing waitress kept the kids entertained very polite and approachable and very lovely to talk too, the food cooked by Roy was absolutely spot on and delicious we all left with full happy bellies.
Thank you for the Fantastic time food and delicious passion fruit martini! Can not wait to come again. 😁

Visited on Saturday morning with friends for breakfast, thought we would try it out after the large revamp. Unfortunately it was not as we were expecting. There was no one on the front desk so we were waiting 10 minutes to be seated. The staff were friendly enough and our waitress was pleasant. However the 45 minute wait for food (it was fairly quiet and there were plenty of staff about) was not acceptable. I ordered the eggs Mediterranean, and was very disappointed with the mediocre portion size, way over cooked poached eggs and the pretty poor presentation. My friends had the main full English which again had poached eggs that were far too over cooked, and sausages that were burnt on the outside. For a 45 minute wait for food, the result was very disappointing. Yes the place looks nice after the refurb, the staff are attentive and friendly - special shout-out to the waiter with the beard (David?)- but the food is poor.

My daughter and I had a super trip to Salisbury Harvester, for Breakfast. This was because Tash (our waitress) was absolutely amazing!! She greeted us, sat us at our table (per our preference to be by a window) and served us. Super quick and friendly service, ever so efficient and made a real effort with my chatterbox of a daughter. Great representation for The Harvester!
The recent referb at this location is also good, the outdoor spaces, toilets etc.

The service is very friendly and speedy, staff very polite. Food is great well cooked. Great friendly atmosphere.

All were deep fried and heavily covered in breadcrumbs rather ruining what could have been a reasonable pit stop.
Fed back to a friendly waitress but she said she couldn’t do much about it other than tell Head Office.
As much as you can eat salad was rather average but was the best part.
Outside garden is pleasant enough but spoiled by heavy traffic noise.

Well I thought the service was fantastic. Chelsea and Katie was absolutely great to chat to. Food was absolutely amazing. Not an issue.

Ok breakfast, friendly staff. One interested thing the bar and the restaurant are different room, and the bar with music but not the restaurant, I liked it was calm and relaxed atmosphere. Toilet super clean.

Excellent meal out today- food came out quickly (within 15 mins approx). The standard of food received was fantastic. My meal (half rotisserie chicken and ribs)- I easily swapped chips for mash small portion and changed the veg no problem. Burger meal- chips ordered were a large. I was so tempted for dessert but I was stuffed! Really happy with the service today and the staff were great. Took leftover food home in a container provided by harvester today too. Decor was contemporary and looked fantastic. Nice rustic look. Really happy and would recommend !
