Really lovely place with warm cozy interior, delicious food, and wonderful owners who were so kind to make some changes to the menu because of my allergies.

Great eccentric place! Not your usual restaurant! Very interesting with lots of antiques around. Very small and simple menu but really good food.

Stumbled across this restaurant when exploring area with grandchildren. Quirky decor, pretty garden and welcoming host with a refreshingly tasty and interesting menu offered.
We opted for the home made pies, bowls of fresh vegetables and home grown tasty tomatoes.
No children’s menu as such but the jacket potato and freshly made sandwich and salad were demolished and followed by delicious chocolate brownies with ice cream.
Glad my curiosity led us to this little gem.

I don’t usually make reviews but this place deserves it! What an incredible place! We luckily found The Potting Shed by accident on a long journey and then we felt like we hit the jackpot! Local, grass fed beef, loads of beautiful vegetables and a lovely diverse menu with good vegetarian options too (which I usually go for when there is a lack of information about the meat). The interiors are beautiful with an old-world edge. The couple who own this hidden gem are super friendly, helpful and welcoming too.
What a great unexpected experience. Couldn’t recommend it more (and I have extremely high standards!!!) 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟🌟

A most unusual restaurant, quirky doesn't do it justice. The interiors are so interesting, but well done too. And the food is just excellent, and if you don't like something they will go out of their way to adapt it and accommodate your tastes. The owners are genuinely interested in food and making sure you have an enjoyable experience. It was one of those experiences we will not forget for a long time.

The Potting Shed was recommended to us by the owners of Little Howle Farm, and so we booked a table for four. Wow, we were not at all disappointed! A slightly quirky but charming setting, we had a very warm and friendly greeting. The food was fabulous and so was the service. If you like fine food, this is well worth a try. Thank you Paul and Shelly for a truly memorable evening, we hope to return and will certainly book with you again.

We had an amazing dinner at The Potting Shed last night to celebrate my retirement. Shelley looked after us very well. Whilst Paul her husband cooked an absolutely delicious meal. They had decorated the dining hall so beautifully for Christmas which created such a magical atmosphere.

Like another reviewer mentioned this place is tucked away but please do visit to take in the atmosphere and sample such delicious food.

We are looking forward to our next visit already.

We had a lovely lunch in The Potting Shed garden last Wednesday. The food was incredibly tasty and homely. There we’re such an array of flavours and colours with both our meals. If we’re ever in the area, we will certainly be back and can only recommend others to visit too.
