THE SWAN MOTEL

Stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend as we were attending a family wedding nearby. What a lovely place, staff are friendly and accomodating, the pub has a quirky atmosphere and the food very good, portion sizes are very big. Lovely to sit outside in the evening and have a drink in the garden. The rooms were of a good size and very clean. We had our beds made and clean towels everyday, family members were able to check in earlier, no problem. The only thing that would of made it better would be to have a small fridge in the room. We would definitely stay here again if we came to the area 👍

Was welcomed by a smiley lady who served my cappuccino. Beautiful surroundings with green space to walk around and a lovely garden. Decor was new and stylish. Toilets were very clean. Would definitely return.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner. You can buy vouchers for people to use here and we had been gifted one as a present which was lovely.
It was a very busy Tuesday night, we booked last minute and they managed to get us in. The staff were rushed off their feet but it didn't impact the service.
The portion sizes were ridiculously big. We didn't need a starter. The prawn cocktail I ordered was the biggest I've ever seen! But all that meant was we got to take half of our main courses home for lunch the next day.
The lamb shank was absolutely delicious and my wife really enjoyed the roulade.

Fairly standard lunch options from a relatively restricted menu. Fairly pricy e.g. fish and chips at £14.95, which would have been ok but the portions were definitely on the small side. That said The Swan is a nice place to eat, with a decent range of beers. The staff were pleasant, if a bit slow to follow up. I have definitely had worse experiences.

Food was disgusting. Overcooked steaks , undercooked vine tomatoes. Service was ok but owner kept making excuses for the kitchen. Staff know more than the owner clearly just a cash cow for her. Not to diss the chef who's been thrown in at the deepens without enough experience. shame on the owners . Will not be going there again.

Well presented carvery was a bit limited but did include some different options. Good outside space. Good atmosphere.

l went to the swan motel yesterday for lunch with my two aunts and uncle, as always it was lovely, we arrived just before opening time but was quite happy to wait outside, but the lady open early for us as my aunt has mobility issues and got us refreshments. really appreciated. The meal was excellent, hot, absolutely loads and really tasty. l wouldn't hesitate to recommend going to the Swan motel for food and the service was excellent.

Had a lovely meal here. The food was very tasty and the service was top notch
