If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue in Norfolk - here is your place!! Belinda and her weddings team were absolutely fantastic and I could not fault them at all. Everything ran smoothly, the venue is beautiful, the food was great and it was just the perfect day.
If you're looking for a lovely weekend/night away then the rooms and lodges are comfortable, clean and beautiful. The food is top quality and we will be returning regularly to remember our perfect wedding here. Thank you all!!

A very very popular place so if you want a meal especially Sunday, then do book.

As a weary traveller on my own after driving from the West Midlands the manager took pity and looked after me. I was so so grateful that day.

As a local I cannot recommend this place enough from the service to the food to the venue itself just awesome.

I have taken friends and family here who also then loved it and shared photos.

A great wedding venue, a great place to come and relax with water views, so much love for this place.

When it comes to a wedding venue, I don't think you can ask for better than the Boathouse. I can honestly say after numerous trips looking for the perfect spot, when me and my than fiance entered the Boathouse we knew it was a magical place. Belinda and her team have created the perfect spot , between the romance of the broad for the ceremony, the intimacy of the boat trip for some gorgeous couple photos, as well as entertainment for the guests, the stunningly rustic dining hall and the elegance of the entertainment room overlooking the broad, they have it all. Belinda herself is lovely to work with, god knows we weren't the most hassle free couple, missing deadlines and having last minute changes, all with the wedding itself planned in about 4 months. However she remained the ultimate professional, making sure she kept us on track and that we did have everything sorted by the end. Our wedding was extremely diverse both in cultural aspects and guest attendance, but accommodations were made everywhere, beautifully. We had an alcohol free wedding, and Belinda proposed ideal substitute drinks for the tables and toasts which was great. On the day , I was full of nerves, so it was lucky that I didn't need to think of anything , as the day flowed as perfectly as it was planned, and mostly on schedule. We were allowed to be immersed in the magical experience without having to worry about the technical aspects, for which I am very grateful.
The food, deserves its own paragraph really, it was amazing, extremely delicious from begging to end. I was afraid of staining my dress and yet couldn't help but devour it, and received many compliments from the guests. Further the evening buffet was a great idea, I was initially unconvinced, but trust Belinda guys, you will need it , people thanked me profusely for having the 2nd meal !!! The accommodations are a lovely touch, just as was breakfast the next morning. Completely aside from the venue my advice for all brides, leave yourself extra time in the morning to get ready, takes longer than you think!!!

Food was amazing (we both had halloumi). Staff were friendly and attentive and it was lovely inside the pub. Haven’t been in so long as I no longer live locally, but will be visiting very soon when I come to see friends and family. Would recommend booking.

We stopped off here for a drink yesterday. A friend had held her wedding here and we wanted to see the place with a view to a future stay/meal.
We were not disappointed.
Amazing location.
Great timing as we arrived just before sunset.
Good service.
Menu looks good with a varied choice as well as decent prices.

Brilliant service, the owner Mike was very helpful with our cases and made us feel relaxed after a very busy day of travelling.

The breakfast was on point and so was the evening meal.

Would definitely recommend this as a holiday and wedding venue.

Fantastic service and facilities. We were delayed arriving due to traffic so called and updated them closer to the time, extremely accommodating. We had pre-paid for breakfast for our final day but had to leave early so were unable to breakfast, so they allowed us to use the payment as a credit for the previous evening's meal. Mike, the owner is an absolute gem, helped us with our cases, nothing was ever too much trouble. Spotless room and en-suite with a lovely view and fantastic food (great dairy free and gluten free options!) Would highly advise for a peaceful stay (especially as wedding guests, the team were faultless.)

Stayed one night, walls were wafer thin, ales were off or very poorly looked after, sour and unpleasant. Swapped the first attempt for one just as bad, so I asked for another, as the very polite and helpful bar staff were trying to help the manager I believe (dark haired woman with glasses in a white shirt) tried telling me that she'd tried them all and they were fine, which was clearly untrue and I'd imagine I've had a fair few more than her.

Not a terrible place, clean, other staff were friendly, food looked really good, but was put off by the experience with the bar manager. Went to Yarmouth and had an amazing Thai instead.

Wouldn't go again, was a bit plain and that lady talked to me like I didn't know what I was on about.
