I shared a very well cooked and tasty lunch with my husband today, we had a good experience in the restaurant and enjoyed shopping, cider tasting helped us to choose some lovely treats.
We will return, thank you friendly staff.

The burger was one of the best I've ever had - the cider apple chutney really added a unique and delicious twist. The carvery also looked amazing. To top it off, my pint of cider was incredibly refreshing. Highly recommend this spot for a tasty meal and a great atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this lovely place quite by chance when looking for a pitstop. Beautiful cosy restaurant with friendly staff, speedy service and lovely cakes. My mulled cider was delicious too! The toilet facilities are in an outbuilding on the way in and were clean and cosy.
We couldn't resist a look in the cider shop before we left. It was very well stocked with lots of local treats in addition to the full range of ciders.
Loved it - will be back!

Booked the bit between Christmas and New Year for lunch with family as they offer a 100% Gluten free option, my Son is high intolerant coeliac. The waiting staff were very attentive and we all chose the Carvery. The queuing system was well planned and efficient, however the servers let the side down a bit.. The meat was hacked at rather that carved and we got chunks instead of slices there was a good selection of vegetables, although some were way under cooked and Just thrown on the plate, the gravy was good but unfortunately was the only hot thing on the cold plate making the whole experience more like a canteen than a restaurant. Most of us left food as it had lost its heat and was too cold to eat.. The price was reasonable but unfortunately that's all the food was..Bit dissapointed and wouldn't return
