The Smokehouse Kitchen & Takeaway

What a fantastic evening at The Smokehouse Kitchen & Takeaway in Burnham this evening ! A great meal, served by amazing staff who gave awesome service throughout the meal !

What a brilliant restaurant!!!
We stayed locally at a big name holiday park and found this little gem on our last night in the town centre. I had the 3 meats smokehouse tray which consisted of ribs, wings,smoked chicken,slaw,salad, and fries..every bite tasted delicious, you have options for sauces..I love Franks on a normal day so had the wings done with Franks..However...if you've ever been to Thailand...try the Thai honey sauce!!! It brought back memories of backpacking around Thailand in my twenties!! It was spot on!
The staff were all welcoming and gave great advice as we have a daughter with allergies for what she could have to eat...I only occasionally write reviews..but this place deserves a great one as it's actually a really cool tasty welcoming gem of a find and I hope many other people read this review and give it a spin...if we ever head back that way..we will definitely be back for more!

We visited the Smokehouse for breakfast, it's a nice clean establishment on the High Street offering generous portions at a reasonable price. Staff friendly and the coffee good, only issue was the long wait time and my cheese on toast wasn't particularly warm or melted.

Fantastic food. You want an extra something or something left out not a problem, because everything is made fresh to order.
Amazing customer service. During Lockdown 1.0 they weren’t allowed to let people into the restaurant but did do takeaways. You would have thought that you would have to wait outside on the pavement, but they asked us where our car was and brought it over when it was ready (something they still do).
During the first Lockdown there were no tourists and no chips for the seagulls and we were spotted eating our Smokehouse takeaway in a nearby car park!!
Update… they have moved to larger premises across the road and no longer do takeaways. I had a meal here recently and the food is still fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive with an anything they can do attitude. The prices were very reasonable too. A main meal (no starter or pudding) and drinks for two was under twenty pounds.

Lovely place, lovely staff, delicious food.
Visited on Saturday 10th Sept with our little girl.
Service was great, they made a real fuss of our little girl they even let her pop into the kitchen and see what was in there, she's so nosey and inquisitive. We also had some breakdancing with the staff after the meal haha she loved it. Prices are very reasonable.
Will visit again when next in Burnham-on-Sea.

Had the dirty fries with Smoked Pulled Chicken, ordered the regular and it was plenty, really tasty. Friendly staff and a good sized menu. Will definitely be going back

the best you will get in the area. 1st time ordering from here and it was 100% worth it. food arrived in half the expected time and was also hot to the touch. the burger though plain which i ordered was plentiful and tasted very nice. the fries of which i had jerk seasoned was also a very big portion and delicious. ii would very much like to know how you make/get the seasoning if you read this many thanks for the delicious food
