The Ufford Crown

First visit today in the sunshine with my two young children. The kids meals were fantastic and the sausages looked local produce i had the pork belly roast dinner which was delicious ... staff were attentive but not constantly pestering every 5 mins... the childrens playground was a great addition and clean and tidy ... great cosy pub ! Would happily return

One of the best meals we have had in a very long time! We sat outside in the marquee as we had dogs with us. Lovely setting! The staff were amazing (even thought to bring the dogs water) and the food was amazing. A lovely little play frame in the garden kept the kids happy too. I highly recommend this place!

One of if not 'the' best pub lunch ever. A solo trip on this occasion (rang ahead -advised) a mid priced Sunday Lunch cooked to perfection. I ordered the beef which was local and delicious. I noticed the pork belly being served around me and instantly wanted that too (as you do) . Service and politeness of staff 100% atmosphere also the same. Had a beautiful Stoll around the village of Ufford to walk it off . Save room for dessert and order the treacle tart... you'll understand why.

How did we overlook this place having travelled up and down the A12 for years?! Welcoming pub, with a roaring fire in the bar to keep punters warm. This is a dog friendly pub. Starters are a bit underwhelming and don't match the 'build-up' on the menu. However, main courses and desserts are fantastic, really good. Beef was rare as stated and yorkshire puddings were out of this world. Service was very good, everyone's special requests were noted and delivered.

Excellent food. Sunday lunch was delicious the gravy had wonderful flavour and little touch of mash potato shaped into a potato.
Dishes were good portion sizes.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Décor of pub was modern and fresh and toilets clean.
Definitely worth a visit.

Superb village pub, some of best food I've ever tasted - utterly delicious. Quite expensive though, but still good value. Full table service makes you feel safe in the time of COVID.
I will definitely return.

Just had a meal at the ufford crown. Staff and food was absolutely amazing. Definitely book a table in advance as it gets very busy. My wife had the burger and said it was the best burger she’s ever had. The pork belly was beautiful and we can’t recommend this place enough. We will be visiting again when we are next in the area
