Stylish interior with wooden 🪵 tables, quite impressive.
Lemonade was too sour, and eggs too spicy, salad 🥗 had too many croutons 🤷‍♀️
Prices are also high enough, however food is fresh.

Wonderful food! The prices are a bit steep but the portions are large. For £13 I got the brunch which came with a hot drink, Bellini, yogurt parfait, soft boiled egg, several large mushrooms and roasted tomatoes, marinated cucumbers with dill, 3 large slices of bread, and a Pain a chocolate. Could easily serve 2. The food was all excellent!

It’s a cute cafe in west gate with aesthetic interior. The scrambled eggs were well made and buttery but the sourdough was too thinly sliced, making it more like a tough biscuit than bread. The French Toasts were tasty and the serving sizes were good.

I would recommend slicing the sourdough thicker so it’s still soft from the inside once it’s toasted. It’s a little on the expensive side so I’d expect to get the bread right.

Great breakfast, I went for the brunch option and it kept me going all day. Slight mix up, I didn't get my eggs with my meal and had to ask for them after waiting a few minutes. They brought over the standard boiled egg which wasn't what I'd ordered, but rectified the mistake within minutes and I got the most delish buttery scrambled egg. Worth the wait!

The attitude of the staff in the oxford branch is so bad I won’t be going again. I came in around 11am with my wife and asked for a table for 2 they took us to large group table. Not exactly what I would expect if you want to have a nice lunch with your partner. I asked if we could be moved to another table she said the only table available would sit 4 people I explained I want to have lunch with my wife and we don’t get much time together due to our work. The staff was really funny and moody with me but and didn’t want move. I counted 8 lots of tables of 4 with 2 people on there. She then moved us but instantly went to another waiter and started talking about me. At this point I decided to leave. I wish I took the name of the staff member so others can avoid. I did confront her about the attitude but she didn’t care. If this was a busy day then you I would understand but on a Tuesday I could not see the problem. I have worked in hospitality for over 20years and take pride. however staff like this give the industry a bad name. In conclusion with the current cost of living. It’s better to support local companies as they tend to have staff with much better attitudes and appreciate the customers. I use to like this place but won’t be going again.

Wonderful little café we discovered and the staff is just so amazingly helpful. During a quick lunch bite we dropped a knife on the floor and Patrick, one of the servers, bolted over and promptly replaced it with a smile. Now that’s service.
Would go again and again!!

I loved my visit today! I stopped for a coffee and pastry and it was amazing! The staff were friendly and the environment was clean. The prices were also very reasonable. I'll definitely be returning.
