What a fabulously gorgeous cafe this is! I was looking for some good coffee while my friend was looking to get some beer. Since we were suggested this cafe by a friend of ours who had been to Oxford earlier, we trusted her and went ahead.

Boy, the coffee they served was fabulous! With that I had ordered some chicken cheese fries and my friend had ordered a beef burger. I do not eat beef, hence, I could not try the burger but the chicken cheesy fries were awesome! 💕 Coupled that with the wonderful Cappuccino, my lunch was awesome. Also, the staff who took the order and the girl who served us, both were amazingly courteous and friendly. Thanks, girls!

Tasty, but the laid back service struggled with how busy moules mercredi was, meaning the bar was full of staff who needed prompting to serve and one girl was serving the whole restaurant alone!

Lovely trendy bar near the train station. Great atmosphere with a good selection of food and drinks. It was nice to see a mix of all ages eating drinking and having a good time. Friendly staff who welcomed us in when I was looking a bit lost for somewhere to go for a quick drink whilst waiting for a train.

Such a lovely spot tucked away in Oxford and it’s a crying shame they will be shutting down. I went this past Tuesday for the life drawing class. The tutor was supportive, the atmosphere was lovely. The space attracts great people and has such a positive energy to it. Will be keeping an eye out for their next location!

The food here is simply terrible. I really wanted to like this place because the actual space it’s in is really lovely, but the food and service (at least for breakfast) are just the worst. Just look at the photos. The food is overpriced, the quality poor, the selection limited and the service quite simply a joke. We had to ask 3 times for sauce to have with what was easily the world’s driest burger. The only explanation that makes sense here is that the people running this place mustn’t eat breakfast or drink coffee.

Beautiful venue, the worst service and food we have ever eaten in Oxford. No one came over to serve us, we had to get up to get our own menus, the coffee was cold and the order was wrong (they only brought 1 burger instead of 2). However, thank goodness as it was inedible.

We split it in half and couldn’t eat it, it was like pink mush. It came without the onions, we had ask for them and when they finally came they were horrible (sweet as though from a jar) there was a colourless slice of tomato and a pathetic slither of lettuce and no burger sauce either. I had to ask for that also. Despite the patty being awful anyway the entire thing just seemed very lazy. Frustrating feeling like you have to get up and ask for every single thing, we may as well have cooked ourselves.

My sons chicken burger consisted of a slice of roast chicken folded in two pieces of toast cut around like a circle - weird. He didn’t eat his either. All in all we ate between us the two portions of chips which were quite nice. The manager was nice about it and did partially refund us however we regretted going and left hungry.

It’s such a shame as the space was beautiful and we were hoping to enjoy it. However, despite appearances, this place misses the mark and was a huge disappointment

Perfect spot for lunch. We sat outside in the sun and had the sourdough sandwiches which were absolutely delicious. Coffees were also amazing!
