Chose this place over McDonald's as their options seemed interesting although limited. I had a meal deal and a three side deal where in total I received a standard size pot of noodles and Hoi Sin duck, 4 chicken bites, 2 spring rolls and 2 deep deep fried prawns. I did get some prawn crackers and the drink was meant to be part of the meal deal but was an additional £2.50. I was looking forward to a nice meal until the cashier told me I owed £17.25 and to which my excitement to eat was replaced with dispair knowing I was about to pay for 2 weeks worth of food in a single meal. I paid and sat down with my friends who had made the correct decision and went to McDonald's. The chicken bites were nice, the spring rolls were rather bland and the deep fried prawns were decent. However the worst part of the meal was the most expensive. The noodles were unimpressive and the Hoi Sin duck was frankly disgusting. A majority of the "duck" I received was dark, fatty, slimy skin. I began eating and each mouthful of what I wanted to be delicious, succulent duck and noodles was replaced with dry noodles and slimy, grotesque dispair. I would have asked for a refund but being British, I've channeled my disappointment and dispair into this review. I'll never go back to Chozen Noodle again. I hope the disappointment that I spent 2 weeks worth of food money on a single meal wears off quickly . Avoid Chozen Noodle at all costs.
Edit: Ate the prawn crackers when we got to our destination and the taste initially was fine but very quickly the aftertaste was disgusting and it was a great send off to one of the worst take away experiences I've ever had.
First thought was, not another burger.... Please. Look around the corner and tucked away is a little noodle bar called Chozen.
I've been to one in Maidstone and thought this would probably the same... ish. But no, I had the Katsu balls, noodles and curry sauce. Really, really nice, very aromatic sauce and the chicken was crispy, added some spicy noodles and it was a very good fast food meal.
Staff were very helpful, I have a lactose intolerance, and sorted it in an instant, unlike some eateries.
Hope they open one in Maidstone.
