The choice was very good, something for everyone. The food was excellent as was the service. My only negative was the alcohol price , £25 for a bottle of red wine in a pub is somewhat steep. I would return though and do recommend it.

We were so lucky to find this pub on our holiday, tempted in by the dog friendly signs (dogs allowed on the terrace and in the beer garden). The staff are very welcoming, attentive and friendly, the food was all cooked fresh to order and everything was delicious (including the puddings). The inside eating area was lovely and cosy too. We returned for Sunday lunch and again for our final meal. Would 100% recommend and we are already planning a return next year!

We've just had a lovely meal tonight.
Really beautiful food.
Fresh ingredients and piping hot.
Decor was lovely and staff were so kind and friendly.
The lady serving us said she was on her third shift there and she really is a credit to the place.
Relaxed atmosphere also.

Came across this gem whilst out on a walk with our dog. A lovely welcoming pub which welcome dogs in the garden only. We decided to share some food and were very satisfied. Although we had a wait, it was well worth waiting for. Steak cooked to absolute perfection. Look forward to visiting again

Whilst sitting in the restaurant looking at the open fire the atmosphere is set.
The food for a pub was exceptional with a varied menu.
The staff were attentive from the time you entered the door.
This was a nice place to spend the evening.

Lovely decor when we walked in, not what we expected. Food was tasty although slightly cold and waitress came very quickly to clear plates away, quite pricey too
