Tafarn Y Deri (Llanedi)

I came for Sunday lunch on the weekend and it was by far the best I’ve had! The gravy was delicious, and the beef was so well cooked, it just fell apart! The meal sizes were perfect. The staff were very attentive and helpful, I would highly recommend!

This was my second visit since the new owners Kath & Rich took over. The food was excellent & served with a smile. All food is freshly cooked to order. Very welcoming staff who can't do enough for you! Looking forward to my next visit already!

Went to the Gimme Some Living Soul night. Fantastic night with a great crowd and very busy efficient staff. Fantastic entertainment provided by a top class band and a great vibe. Great value for money too which these days is hard to find.

We came here on the bank holiday Sunday the 28th of August.
As we had family down from London, we decided last minute to go and support a local band "Gimme Some Lovin" soulband who were performing there as part of their upcoming live music events consisting of a meal included in the price.
We opted for the homemade lasagne (definitely homemade, very tasty) and the burger with cheese and bacon with homemade chips.
Couldn't fault the food and will defo return to try from their main menu soon.
The staff couldn't do enough for you, very courteous and attentive and all worked extremely hard on such a busy night. Even the locals were welcoming!
Obviously the band were amazing and I think the new owners are doing a great job.
Looking forward to more live music nights, will defo be returning.

Well what can I say.we rang up for a table for my sons 13th birthday.even though it was a last minute booking on a Friday eve nothing was to much trouble. The food was absolutely stunning and the service was impeccable. Our waitress ffion was fantastic

I had the manhattan chicken from the specials board and it was so delicious and succulent. Enjoyed every mouthful of my food, as did the rest of the party. Lush guys thank you

I have just returned from a fabulous lunch here at Tafarn y Deri. Despite it being really busy Debbie and Ffion provided an excellent service. I will certainly return for more delicious meals and friendly banter. Well done girls!

Lovely to see the Tavarn back to life again and it has a great menu and events calendar. Enjoyed every meal we've had there. Feel the old Tex Mex plates take away the experience of the food.......please go white.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Tafarn Y Deri while in the area on business for 2 days. Despite the restaurant not being open on a Monday and arriving super late on the night the kitchen was opened for me and my colleague, and we received the best possible welcome.
The food on both days was fabulous, well cooked, fresh and tasty. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and offers the perfect base for the surrounding area.
The Tafarn is highly recommended both for food and accommodation. You won't get a warmer welcome anywhere. Truly fabulous!
