A delightful tea room that offers ice cream too.

The tea room has been set out beautifully. It is decorated beautifully with a number of signs that make reference to the expectations of men. Life is tough... sometimes.

The food is carefully prepared and presented. It is served in a polite and courteous manner.

There is a large garden at the front with tables to sit at to enjoy the food and drink on offer. This is particularly useful for people with dogs because they too enjoy the chance to relax with a drink and a bite to eat.

The toilets are kept clean.

If you want huge portions of the nicest cakes, go here!! Absolute bang for your buck! Warm scones with whipped cream and strawberries, delicious hot chocolate, and the BIGGEST death by chocolate you have ever seen!! I should have listened to the lady behind the counter, she warned me that a single portion to share would have been challenge enough but nooooo, "my boys are animals" I said to her 🤣 .... I didn't expect this thing to be the size of Mt Everest!! It should have come in trough with trowels!! It was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by the boys even though they didn't manage to chomp it all (not for lack of trying!). The staff are so lovely, and the downstairs is dog friendly too if you have a four legged friend and the weather is a bit grim. Deffo eyed up the sandwiches and jacket potatoes for our next visit because they looked bloody gorgeous too!

Fresh food, good service, a little expensive prevents it from being a five star review. Cold lattes were served, which also disappointed. That said, the afternoon tea was delicious and plentiful (though a variety of sandwiches would help the menu rather than having to choose one option as we did). Milkshake was very impressive for children. Sandwiches came with side salad and crisps, and jacket potatoes had a delicious filling and fresh side salad. Expect to pay about £10 per adult.

Looking for a place to have lunch. After looking at the available places, we decided to stop here, plenty of people sitting out in the garden, tables had parasol's good menu, with specials board inside, they do exceptional deserts, Lasagne was excellent along with the Eaton Mess, this was a must. Staff were brilliant, friendly, and quick to clear tables. Watch out for the seagulls. Visit you will not be disappointed.

How disappointing! Staff were rude and acted like it was an inconvenience customers being there. The cream tea was not good and have had much better in othe establishments in tywyn/aberdovey. Looked very nice but taste let it down.. scones were nothing special..tasted shop bought to be honest but the biggest let down was the cream.. just a big pot of squirty cream out of a can!!? No clotted cream.. not even whipped fresh cream.. very poor for a tea room! We wont be back.

We must have gone on the wrong day, the cakes were really poor and the cream tea one member of our group had was virtually inedible, stale scone with squirty cream not fresh cream. Glad to hear other people have had a better experience.
