Our family have been a longtime supporter of the Old Railway Garden Centre and always thought it to be a great place. But the restaurant is starting to get ridiculously priced for what you get. The food is ok but not worth the prices being charged now... over £7 for a toasted sandwich! Come on and make it good quality and value for money like it used to be!

Used my loyalty card which this time gave me money off because of my birthday. Who could ask for more. I only had a scone and pot of tea, but it was at the busiest time of the day when far larger orders were being dealt with. The young lady who served us was excellent. Didn't get flustered even though this was a new job.

Exceptional food at very reasonable prices. The staff are really friendly and so helpful. I have no reservations about recommending this place.

Busy . Was told half hour wait for food. 55 mins later food arrived no apology or explanation plus two very average plates of food. Have eaten here several times this will be the last !

We had the most expensive breakfast which was well worth it. Want to give 4½ ☆☆☆ for the food. They serve streaky bacon whereas back would've been better. Highly recommend

Popular restaurant, but even though it was busy, there were plenty of staff; so waiting times were no more than you'd expect when food is cooked to order. We always find there's plenty of choice, and the food is competitively priced.
