Nando's Newport - Retail Park

Chaos on arrival...loud echoing environment and ordering a nightmare, the table ordering via app failed so waited ages at the till to place the order.
Eventually after a long wait food arrived and was delicious which was a big relief, not really a pleasant dinning experience as everything serve yourself and had to wait for cutlery as it had to be washed, the staff were lovely but looked stressed and didn't seem to stop, making the whole scenario less than relaxing. It's a shame there is no opportunity to tip and also unsettling paying for food before it's been eaten.
High praise for the staff working in such an awful environment and top marks to the chefs. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend for a relaxing meal.

Delicious chicken served in a good restaurant with nice outdoor seating for when the weather permits! Good value for money and very good service i received here. Nice space outside and I would say a good overall experience

It is what it is..
Every restaurant is the same, menu is the same.. But we all love it! You know what your getting every time...mixed Olives are a must!
Kids can't keep away from the frozen yoghurt machine.. Its an all round go to place for a bit spice in ya life.. Or on your chicken

Always a 5 star meal from me! I have tried most items on the menu and none will disappoint. At the moment I am preferring the half chicken with hot peri peri and 2 sides of spicy chips with coleslaw. Everything was gorgeous!

Food was yummy except for my mash and my partners coleslaw, the mash was as very dry not creamy like it stated and the coleslaw had hardly any sauce in it just a white watery mixture at the bottom of the bowl (I'm sure it was meant to be made with yoghurt or something). Service was slow and the young lad who bought us our desert looked like he didn't want to be there. I ordered on the app so I didn't have to wait in the queue to order also hoping our order would've got to the kitchen quicker. The atmosphere was okay nothing spectacular due to the issues that were happening. The toilet cubicles in the ladies well, there is only one that was open (not sure If the other one is a store cupboard) and it's very small, which meant there was a queue for the loos too. Overall it was an okay visit but I'm not in a hurry to come back.

Was so nice to go here and have such great service.

It seems like everywhere I’ve been since the pandemic has gone down hill, with long queues, waits for food and poor service.

Nando’s in Newport has been the exception!!

Nando's, like most chains, is a safe bet when you're travelling around. The thing that sits this apart from others was the service. The staff in the Newport Nando's were particularly polite and friendly - really good service, and the food was out in a flash.

Very good food and always very consistent. Staff are friendly and the food is served quickly. 4 stars as the food is slightly pricy for its simplicity, however the refillable drinks do make up for it a little.
