Liked: Lovely site pre booked so was able to go straight to our pitch which was very wide with private hedges between with own water and waste. Lovely luxury heated toilet shower block also immaculate, with pot wash and laundry room, liked the hand gel dispensers everywhere. Great kids play area well thought out site even got an outdoor bar area on fri/sat eve till 7 (would have been nice till about 9) will definitely be going back soon, staff very friendly and efficient

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Easy to get to from Motorway and locality to St Annes & Blackpool.
Very clean and tidy site. Staff very helpful.
Nicely laid out site. Play area good for children.
Small outdoor Bar area, but only open a few hours Fri/ Sat afternoon.

Disliked: Gravel- big chunks of gravel very hard ground, even with our strongest metal pegs and drill & hammer took us ages to peg out Awning.

We have just had a short stay at Piper's Height. It was brilliant. From the warm welcome on arrival to our very spacious pitch. The facilities were so clean, showers spacious with plenty of hot water. Even a electric socket if you wanted to use your own hair dryer. Bus stop into Blackpool just a short walk outside the camp. There was a bar on site on Fridays and Saturdays. But we didn't use it. Would highly recommend and would stay again

Liked: Large pitches.
Clean site.
Modern and clean toilet and shower facilities.
Little shop in reception with a good selection of basic essentials.
Friendly staff.
Tarmacked roads which is better for the kids on their bikes.
Close proximity to Lytham and St Anne's (cost us just under a tenner for a taxi to Lytham).
12pm check-out time.
Well appointed sluice points.
Nice outside bar - heat lamps under the wooden pergola area.
Nice, tidy park area.
Due to the car reg recognition system on the front barrier, we were able to drive straight to our pitch without any hassle of check-in at reception.

Disliked: Going home.

Great site but some issues!!
We visited Pipers Height this weekend and the site is great but some things let it down hence not giving it 5 stars. We received a booking email which states to drive straight in and to your pitch and you don't need to check in so we drove straight to the barrier and it didn't open then a lady shouted us to check in, at this point we were up close to the barrier on a downward hill and a car behind us therefore could not move out of the way, slight annoyance!! We did tell the lady that the email said to drive straight in and she advised this needs to be changed as this is not the way now!! Pitch was huge and more than enough room for the caravan, large awning and car however we had to purchase rock pegs from reception which cost £25. They were absolutely awful and would not go into the ground, a helpful man said to boil water and pour that before placing the peg which helped slightly but trying to get the pegs out when taking the awning down was just ridiculous they either snapped or stayed in the ground therefore we lost out on the pegs that just cost us £25!! We did see other pegs hammered down into the ground too so must be an issue with the rocks. One further slight annoyance was the 'secure dog field'. We searched all over for this and we were directed there but all we found was a open field next to some horses which had a pond in and the gate facing the main road which our dog would have easily slipped under and out. We did let the dogs off on the dog walk as this was much safer but was a shame we didn't have the enclosed area. The park was great for the kids and the bar. Don't know if we would return due to the rock peg and awning situation and this is a real shame as its a great site in a great location! Maybe if you don't intend to put an awning up or don't mind losing £25 on pegs it's the perfect site for you!!

We hadn’t been to piper heights before and can say if you want a little break away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool this is your place. Great sized very well kept pitches, grass lands and park for the kids.
Immaculate toilet and shower facilities lovely staff and very accommodating. We didn’t manage to have a drink in the drunken stag but definitely next time.
Thanks to Tracy and her team.

Liked: Very clean site, cleanest we have stayed at and staff freindly. Lovely and quite whilst we were there, poss too quite at times. Nice and close to blackpool which was great as that was our reason for going up north was to visit all the blackpool tourist stuff

Disliked: Our pitch was right down the bottom of the sites and toilets (which there was only one area of toilets) was at the entrance so was I right hike to go for a pee. They decided to mow the grass right behind us before 9am and 2 mornings in a row.
There us an outside bar but shame that's only open on weekends.
