Liked: New Forest View is a clean, well maintained, camp site. It is gated, which on arrival seems unusual, but with children playing just inside, quickly becomes acceptable. Level pitches and gravel path/road.
We liked the small lake and the wildfowl and the fish. Some adults were fishing, it was tranquil at times.

Disliked: The facilities are very small, only one shower in ladies and only one small sink. A ‘no drinking water’ sign over the only sink in ladies made cleaning teeth in there impossible. No hot water in the one washing up sink.

Not really a dislike but the grass pitches for tents are located next to the road, under trees. Motorhome pitches are on the other side, away from road. I was cold! We felt the campsite is ideal for caravans and motor homes, but not for those who don’t have their own facilities.

Liked: very nice site nice welcome at the gate and full instructions and info given. Quite a remote location if like us you don't have a car as we were in a motorhome. pub next door is very nice a little overpriced but the cider Cool River was amazing and definitely refreshing as it was a hot weekend.
The shower block is small but clean and the showers cost a £1.00 for 5 mins so you have to be quick! Overall very nice place and will probably visit again.

Disliked: too many pebbles so I couldn't use my mobility scooter needs to be more disabled friendly.

Liked: A lovely quiet camp site. Plenty of space for the pitch. Boys loved watching the fish. An amazing pub next door with a fantastic restaurant and play park. Very clean facilities. Feel safe and secure within the site.

Disliked: The pay to use shower, being mid wash and the shower times out, you have to go out of the shower room to put more coins in. For someone with long thick hair it was a rush. Not much to do within walking distance with 4 small kids.

Liked: Everything! This was not our first time here, and will certainly not be our last. Loved the peace and quiet, even though the site was full it was lovely and peaceful. Good size pitches with level ground. Clean toilets, we didn’t use the showers but looked nice and clean. Good security with the gate that needed a code. The fishing 🎣 which kept my husband occupied and happy! Lastly, the warden was just great, he walked around regularly to check everyone was happy and he always had a smile on his face. We will definitely be coming back, thank you for the lovely break.

Liked: Really fantastic family and dog friendly atmosphere. We had the best time and were really sad to only stay one night. The lake is great too. Lovely for kids. Everyone was so welcoming. Nice pub next door with some fantastic places to visit locally.

Disliked: Very minor as the site overall was fantastic but the timer on the shower wasn’t great. The box is outside the cubical and the shower comes straight on. By the time you get in the shower, half the time is gone. Also very slippy. The site was so lovely though it didn’t detract from our stay at all.

Liked: Clean flat site with spacious plots.
Polite friendly staff.
Gated secure entrance.
Easy access to pub/restaurant next door which served good quality and reasonably priced food.
Close to the National Memorial Arboretum.

Disliked: Only one toilet and shower.
Having to pay £1 to use the shower, should be included in the site fee.
On flight path of local airport, felt it was noisy during the night until the early hours.

Liked: Really nice to be welcomed by Gerald, friendly and helpful site manager, and escorted to our clear and level pitch. Beautiful, clean and well laid out site and facilities. Natural pond with wildlife is well kept too. Gerald gave us the information about the site and offered help at any time. Wonderful countryside getaway place to relax or travel short distance to local villages. Lovely children’s play area and equipment. Well placed electrical hook up point, very useful.
Definitely recommend to others and will visit again.

Liked: A wonderful site, not too big and very peaceful. The lake in the middle housed some lovely wildlife and it was beautiful to sit and watch the family of mallards that arrived. The facilities were easy to access, well maintained and clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone!
