We stayed at the Bridgestowe Caravan Park in April 2010 while cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats. We arrived at the site quite late and without a booking but the owner was very friendly and had no problem fitting us in. The site is nice and flat and so it was easy to pitch the tent, plus the pitches are nicely sheltered and spaced out.
Unfortunately the shower facilities etc. left a lot to be desired and were cold and outdated. The owner runs a small shop out of the reception and there is a pub in the village nearby. There wasn't any other facilities to speak of but the site was quiet and peaceful.
This site is no doubt popular due to it's close proximity to Dartmoor, so if you are cycle touring you may be happier spending a night wild camping on the moors.

Brilliant I have kept my caravan there sited for 9 years now would not go anywhere else. The owners and lovely people and really helpful. Love it there right on the edge of Dartmoor for some of the best walks and scenery in the world in my opinion, can't praise Glebe Park enough, thank you to the Young's for letting us keep our caravan there all these years X

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. Really lovely little campsite. Mainly caters for caravans and statics but very welcoming to those wishing to stay under canvas also. The owners were really friendly and helpful on arrival. Pitches are flat, well turfed and private with hedging. The toilet and shower block is a bit rough and ready but is clean. If this was updated it would definitely get 5 stars. 5 minute walk from the village with a lovely pub. Great stay on the moors. Many thanks!

Used for years always clean tidy and friendly great location for sight seeing. Right on the edge of Dartmoor. Great for camping or a stay in the statics. Couple of good pubs within walking distance. Also the Highwayman is a must to visit.
