Stayed for two weeks. The site is very well run and the facilities are spotless. It's within easy reach of plenty of sites to see. And there's good walks by the River Tweed

When you enter the site there is a notice board on the left that has your name and pitch number and the owners will check on you to make sure every thing is OK, the site is very well kept and all the facilities are spotless, the site is a couple of miles from the main road and is in a very peaceful location even though there is a little noise from visitors at the honey farm next door. If you take a short walk down to the suspension bridge there are excellent walks along the Tweed and plenty of places to visit within a twenty minute drive.

A pleasant and quiet little adult only site that is easily accessible off of the A1. The facilities are clean with mixer showers, washing up area and laundry machines. The views from the entrance to the site across the Tweed are incredible.

FANTASTIC, simple as that! The owners are great, from the phone call to enquire about availability, Nina was so friendly, happy and helpful to the emergency call on Saturday to find a good vet, Nina was so helpful and caring. Happily her vet was great and we got our Sprocker Spaniel sorted quickly and without hassle. Nina was always about somewhere, from cleaning the facilities block to mowing the grass to checking to see who had arrived. Point to. One the first pitch as you arrive is no 1, we managed to get in the wrong place and even Nina didn’t spot it till later, a genuine mistake taken With genuine humour on all sides. We didn’t have to move as all was good, blame the rain 🤣. Spotless site superb facilities and for a small site they are amazing. Adult only is lovely, though we didn’t realise when we booked as my parents had been before and loved it. The Chainbridge is being reinstated and we get a good view of that too. Lovely quiet and friendly site. Almost every unit had a 4 legged friend and it takes a long time to get to the facilities, as Meg has to say hello to them all on the way and the way back. Units are sensibly spaced and each has its own water point. Ample space for a twin axle caravan or motorhome, took a few cuts to get in but no issue, if you have a mover it will be a doddle, but it’s nothing to be concerned with. Awning despite being on hard standing went up a treat and the pegs went in easy! A shock to have the awning up by lunch, and that included a late breakfast and a dog wander! Great. When it’s wet wellies are useful and a tray in the door for the wellies, and a paw towel for the pooch as the stones are a reddy type and when wet they have a residue, with the tray and paw towels we had no issues. I don’t think the site is designated a dark sky site but it definitely should be, at night the views of the stars were breathtaking, having a poorly pooch I was put at 2am! There were bats, and owls, the sky was just amazing. The site is high above the river tweed, so no worries about flooding. The view to the Chainbridge is spectacular, there is a walk down past the bridge to the river bank and I’m told it goes all the way onto Berwick upon tweed and the opposite direction as well into Horncliffe. There are also walks across the chainbridge as well, but we didn’t explore these, however my parents did and loved it. The site is pretty sheltered as well and a great spot for exploring the area, and for days relaxing and chilling out, it’s perfect and I would recommend it to everyone. The site is adjacent to the Honey Farm which is free to explore and includes a Bus Cafe, lots of old vehicles some in restored condition others not, but a beautiful place to explore and friendly owners there as well, and lovely gardens and planting for the honeymakers! All in all a Fantastic spot, friendly and lovely owners, amazing facilities including a tv room with sofa, kitchen with fridge and microwave for use by those on site. Simply fantastic.

Lovely small adult only park. One of the nicest we've visited and will go again. Very private and quiet with the nicest facilities. Adjacent to a museum farm that sells yummy honey. Can't recommend this enough.

An immaculate site with spotlessly kept facilities - such a credit to the owners.
Hard standing with services, along with grassed areas next to each allotted pitch.
Only a short walk down to the chain bridge which had been dismantled for refurbishment when we visited, the honey farm was also unfortunately closed. However it’s a great based to explore Northumberland and the borders.
