Dapplewood caravan site

Liked: The wooded area is very secluded and feels like a home away from home. Gorgeous countryside. Lovely little touches around the site. Excellent access to water and emptying facilities. Bridgette and her husband were very welcoming and even though they were closed (for daughters party) the weekend after I stayed on the Thursday, they said I could stay all weekend if I needed to as the weather was rubbish. So very kind 🙏 highly recommend.

Liked: Gorgeous get away from it all location. Very quiet, small and relaxing site and Bridgett was so friendly and helpful. The local pub, which was dog friendly, was just a short walk across the fields and had a great range of beer and ales and the food was top notch. Perfect for us and our Labrador to get away and relax.... Thank you Dapplewood

Liked: Lovely small site.. Bridget was lovely and very helpful. There was a nice dog walk in the woods but a small area so you need to go further afield for a proper walk.

Disliked: Limited facilities but this is well documented.
We were at the bottom and the Wi-Fi was very poor may be better near to the house.

Liked: Quiet site in beautiful surroundings. We were welcomed onto the site by the owner Bridget who was very helpful and friendly. The site itself is basic, which is what we were looking for. If you're after all the facilities then this isn't for you. However if you want a peaceful, relaxing and beautiful site then look no further. The woods were stunning and it was an easy walk across the fields to the local pub. We will definitely be back.

Disliked: Leaving

Liked: Quiet and peaceful. Great level hard standing pitches in the middle of woodland. Lovely walks. Owners very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Irresponsible dog owners who let dogs roam and foul others pitches and not clear it up!!

Liked: Peaceful and small campsite. The owners were lovely too!! Nicely spaced pitches Al with electric hook up.
Lovely little wood behind the site for a quick toilet break for the pooch.
Beautiful pub just across the fields. Gets busy, so you'll need to book.

Disliked: You'll need to bring blocks with you to level

Liked: Great little site. Fabulous welcome. Nice level pitch. Lovely wooded dog walk. Definitely stay again. Very peaceful

Disliked: Nothing

This is a lovely site, backed onto private woodland. Water and electric hook up. 5 pitches, we went out of season so had the place to ourselves. A short walk to the old inn pub / restaurant. Some great walking to be had over Holt common, with lots of wildlife to see.
We shall return again in the summer next time. 👍👍🤗
